So, we really want to work on the DLC routes and the NSFW chapters, so we'll most likely try to fund those via Patreon. It'll take way longer than if we reached the stretch goal, but it's a way of bringing Lost in Limbo to its full potential and offering you all all the content we had planned for the game.

First of all, thank you all so so much again and again for your feedback and for the time you are dedicating on helping us! It has been truly unvaluable for us as we try to navigate this change with as much care as possible and respecting our supporters' opinion.

—His face has been edited to better represent his features as some of them had become lost in the first version. You'll notice the shape of his jaw, cheekbones, nose, and eyebrows, as well as his lips, have been worked on to correctly characterize him. —Added a bit more shine to his eyes —Lighted up his cloak and added more golden details —Lowered his cummerbund / corset so his ribcage actually is able to move (poor man) —Reverted to Daddy Long Legs Classy Pants because we didn't think the new mix of tight pants + knee-high boots suited his personality. He is a demure man. ✦ XAL

So, Xal's going to be a bit harder than Gael as both Raquel and I (as writer and artist) think our vision of Xal has changed a bit since we started working on the demo, design-wise. We are trying to keep as many features / details from his original face into his new one (and of course we want to keep the essence of the old design), but it's true that we want something a bit more different for him and this new version may be it. So let us know your thoughts!

The arch of his nose has been edited as well as the shape of his lips and the shape of his chin and cheek. — His eyebrows are now thicker as they were in his original design — The choker and the anti tragus piercing are back! — Lighted up his jacket and the cushioned part of it, not to the point of the previous design as we want to do some more trial and error with that — Made the marks on his jacket more white / more visible! — Made the undertone of his skin more pinkish

Ok so I’m sorry this such a specific question. But I was wondering. In the game demo the mc state is pretty much described the whole time; like the wounds they have, their clothes being ripped and Amon even comment on us looking like "crap" xD

Is there going to be such description in the future? I just love how immersive it is! And I’d like my MC to wear flashy Limbo clothes as well 😌

As long as the team doesn't fire me, the writing will keep being as descriptive! I hope not to the point of being annoying (because I do tend to forget it's a VISUAL NOVEL and there should be a balance between things being described and seen )! I could literally write essays about Boothill and his decision to become death itself by giving up the ability to die. Especially after we hear his younger thoughts/feelings about death being a universal and beautiful part of living. His name is even a colloquial term for dead men, because he believes that he died with his family since everyone who knew his name in their common tongue passed. The memory of him died with them. His new “name” is a noun, a place specifically. He references sending people “to Boot Hill”- he is death. He is their grave. My blood pressure is rising.

if a trans man talks about the discrimination and violence he faces because he’s a trans man and you say “that’s not because you’re a man, it’s just because you’re trans! you can’t be oppressed for being a man!” you owe him and every other trans man a minimum of $100 each.

you cannot treat our transness and our manhood as two completely separate things. we’re trans because we’re men and men because we’re trans. when we’re oppressed for our transness, we’re being oppressed on the basis of a transition to manhood. our transness and our manhood are inseparably linked. you don’t get to ignore the existence of trans manhood as a unique cohesive position in the hierarchy of gendered oppression just because the concept of a gender-oppressed man doesn’t fit into your current understanding of how those hierarchies work. you don’t get to pick and choose whether you want to address us as trans people or as men based on what you find the most convenient for your worldview in a given situation because we’re always both and there’s nothing contradictory about that.

if a trans man says he’s oppressed on the basis of being a man and the conclusion you take away from that is that trans men can’t be trusted to talk about our own oppression and his intentions must be malicious, you’re just a transphobe. the correct conclusion to take away from that would be that it’s time to update your understanding of gendered oppression because your current way of thinking about it doesn’t apply to an entire group of people. if you immediately get defensive and paint an entire group of trans people as unreliable narrators of their own lives instead, you’re just being transphobic.

if you believe that an oppressed group should get to lead discussions on their own oppression and be believed by default when they talk about how it works, you have to apply that principle to trans men too. we’re not an exception to the rule, you’re just a hypocrite making excuses.
