Ok so I’m sorry this such a specific question. But I was wondering. In the game demo the mc state is pretty much described the whole time; like the wounds they have, their clothes being ripped and Amon even comment on us looking like "crap" xD
Is there going to be such description in the future? I just love how immersive it is! And I’d like my MC to wear flashy Limbo clothes as well 😌
PS: I have fallen in love with this game! You guys are just so good! <3
As long as the team doesn't fire me, the writing will keep being as descriptive! I hope not to the point of being annoying (because I do tend to forget it's a VISUAL NOVEL and there should be a balance between things being described and seen )! I'm so happy to know you liked the writing, and of course the game overall, too! T^T
So my problem with most ‘get to know your character’ questioneers is that they’re full of questions that just aren’t that important (what color eyes do they have) too hard to answer right away (what is their greatest fear) or are just impossible to answer (what is their favorite movie.) Like no one has one single favorite movie. And even if they do the answer changes.
If I’m doing this exercise, I want 7-10 questions to get the character feeling real in my head. So I thought I’d share the ones that get me (and my students) good results:
What is the character’s go-to drink order? (this one gets into how do they like to be publicly perceived, because there is always some level of theatricality to ordering drinks at a bar/resturant)
What is their grooming routine? (how do they treat themselves in private)
What was their most expensive purchase/where does their disposable income go? (Gets you thinking about socio-economic class, values, and how they spend their leisure time)
Do they have any scars or tattoos? (good way to get into literal backstory)
What was the last time they cried, and under what circumstances? (Good way to get some *emotional* backstory in.)
Are they an oldest, middle, youngest or only child? (This one might be a me thing, because I LOVE writing/reading about family dynamics, but knowing what kinds of things were ‘normal’ for them growing up is important.)
Describe the shoes they’re wearing. (This is a big catch all, gets into money, taste, practicality, level of wear, level of repair, literally what kind of shoes they require to live their life.)
Describe the place where they sleep. (ie what does their safe space look like. How much (or how little) care / decoration / personal touch goes into it.)
What is their favorite holiday? (How do they relate to their culture/outside world. Also fun is least favorite holiday.)
What objects do they always carry around with them? (What do they need for their normal, day-to-day routine? What does ‘normal’ even look like for them.)
When you first meet Cécile, Gael's bodyguard, you can't stop from shivering under the gaze of his bloodthirsty eyes.
He has no interest in you. In fact, he openly dislikes you. You can tell by the way he looks at you; if it were his choice, his hands would already be around your neck. And yet, you can't deny the attraction pulling you towards him, oblivious of how dangerous it would be if he were to worship you instead of his Master.
Can you survive the love of an obsessed killer, or will you meet your end at the raw passion of his hands?
You all worked hard (and fast!) so here he is: our highly questionable love interest for those of you who like a bit of extra danger in your romances...and someone being obsessed with you.
Cécile and another mysterious character are the two unlockable love interests you'll be able to date if we reach their Kickstarter stretch goal...launching in three days!

Hey guess what? more Qin & Hades outfits 2/2
Part 1
Qin: I’m not saying I would make a better King, that’s unsaid… Hades: It’s not unsaid when you say it. Qin: No, I’m saying I’m not saying it, so, in fact, it is unsaid.
[Toon x Mobster] Jack passes out on the couch after an exhausting day of work.
Gavriel has a particular habit of taking in Jack's scent and rubbing his face with it when it's not covered with the headache-inducing heaviness of perfume.

Shoutout to my cat, Ming Ming. I got this comic idea from him.
I also projected myself a bit in this comic. I dislike scented products like perfume, hair gel, etc. since my nose tends to get very sensitive at times.
I have many things I don't like to smell. It makes me feel overwhelmed and tired.
