To calm yourself inside and out, eat lavendar. Chomp it right off the plant. Go feral. Eat the leaf.

This is a for-starters, by-a-starter littleΒ βchallengeβ for witchblr that I came up with, based on questions Iβve already asked myself or plan to ask myself in the process of doing shadow work! Super simple concept, just one question per day. Since thereβs only 12 days, you can spread things out through the whole month of December to give your mind and emotions a break! π Day One: What does my inner child want that they never got? Put it on the Christmas list. π Day Two: What is something I was taught to hate, and how do I unlearn that? π Day Three: What is something I internalized that I need to let go of? π Day Four: What is something negative that I say about myself? Why? π Day Five: What is a physical object that hurts me to keep around? Donate it so it can become someone elseβs joy.
π Day Six: Who do I need to forgive? (A direct conversation is not needed, but you can opt-in to that IF you feel prepared to do so.) π Day Seven: What do I need to forgive myself for? π Day Eight: What is something you wanted to learn but were never able to, and why did it interest you? Reflect on why it was attractive. π Day Nine: What kind of people am I attracting into my life, and how does this effect me? Reflect on what patterns/cycles are occurring. π Day Ten: Who do I miss? Reflect on what was so impactful about them. π Day Eleven: What is something you loved that you had to leave behind? See if it can be dived back into. π Day Twelve: What have the last eleven days taught me about myself? Reflect on how you can use this moving forward. And thatβs it! I hope you guys enjoy!
i hope all of you beautiful witches (& of course non-witches too!) are taking care of yourselves β¨π±π

βΏβ baby witch tips ββΏ
βΎ do your own research! take everything you hear with a grain of salt.
βΎ research all herbs you use wether it be for spells, candles, etc. note which herbs you cannot ingest.
βΎ check thrift stores/dollar stores before making an expensive purchase! a lot of my favorite witchy items have been under $5. (of course, shop ethically when you can!)
βΎ note which crystals you can charge with sunlight, and those you can charge with the moonlight.
βΎ be open to making witchy friends! comparing crafts & tips is a great way to learn and grow.
βΎ pendulums can be made on the spot with a needle and some thread.
βΎ donβt have an incense holder? grab a jar, and fill it with some himalayan salt. now you do!
βΎ donβt forget that you donβt need any fancy tools or expensive ingredients to be a witch; your personal power and intention is always enough.

Sheβs specifically referring here to the deliberate cultivation of aΒ βrefined palateβ, which usually involves developing a taste for what is bitter, pungent and even rotten. But Iβm also thinking about developing a taste for something out of necessity, and then continuing to enjoy it when itβs no longer necessary for your survival.
Our personal taste for food is always a reflection of our childhood diet, and no matter how much you develop your palate youβll never fully disconnect it from your earliest experiences. And this is true of other kinds of tastes as well, other kinds of appetites and sensual pleasures.

You will need:
β’ All Natural Ginseng Tea or Herbal Mixture
β’ One teaspoon of Ground Ginger
β’ One half a teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon
β’ One eighth a teaspoon of Ground Nutmeg ( or one fourth depends on the person and amount of luck needed)
β’ Two teaspoons of sugar (or however many you want, I personally think Two is best)
β’ One half to One teaspoon of Honey/Agave nectar ( Optional.)
β’ One Lemon slice or a fourth a teaspoon of Lemon Juice
β’ Strong Belief and Faith
Preparing:
Begin by making your Ginseng Herbal Mixture . Then, begin adding your herbs, I find that while adding my herbs it helps to voice what they are and what i'm using them for. Add your teaspoon of Ginger for strength and energy. Stir well until fully incorporated. Proceed to add your eighth a teaspoon of nutmeg for luck, followed by your cinnamon for love and luck as well as strength and success. Stir until both herbs are well incorporated. Next add your sugar for love and flavour (mostly flavour). Stir until completely dissolved before adding (if you chose) Honey/Agave nectar can also be used for love (but mostly flavour). Finally, add in the Lemon Juice to reduce negativity (because no one needs that in their life), and to cleanse. Once you have mixed that in take a moment to pray to your deity (optional). Truly believe that your luck and fortune will change for the better and begin drinking.
