The thing I love about John is that like…he’s so much more dangerous than Sherlock but everyone else was trying to warn him away like “that guy gets off on crime and you seem like a nice bloke, watch yourself.” They’re all scared for him like “one day we’ll be standing around a body and sherlock will be the one who put it there” and that very night they’re all standing around the cabbie’s body and John put it there.

what a peculiar line. this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, not to casual viewers and not even to the characters in the show including john.

it only makes sense to 2 parties: sherlock and people who know him to be in love with the groom.

Do you ever, like, realize that people in real life don’t actually speak in, for lack of a better term, tumblr-lingo when talking about television shows? Words like fandom, ships, OTP, or even season 2a, season 2b, don’t exist in their realm.

They literally just watch a TV show, and that’s it??? Maybe they’ll catch it again next week??? What even is that??

22 Headcanons: Memory

For their first anniversary, John takes Sherlock on a tour of ‘Their London’, going to all the places that hold significance to them and their life together, each tied to a specific memory. The Bart’s lab where they first met, Angelo’s where they shared their first meal and John subconsciously decided he wanted to live with Sherlock, The Landmark restaurant where Sherlock came back to John, past the house where a body was found from the case after which they shared their first kiss, bookshop where they were sitting during a stakeout when they said I love you for the first time, and so on. Finally, they end up at a bench overlooking the Thames at sunset, and for the life of him, Sherlock can’t remember the significance of it. That’s when John pulls him down into a slow kiss, and says “This is where I asked you to marry me”, then drops to one knee.

Oh thank God, I thought I was weird.

Does anyone else have a box in your house full of “mystery cords.” Cords that you have no idea what they do or what they are for, but you are too scared to throw them out just in case they are important .
