Plus, there’s something intoxicating about Vader’s fearsomeness. This short really celebrates his iconic design — his shadow, the red lightsaber, the booming voice — all of which makes him so unforgettable.”

Destiny 2- Polaris Lance

Client: Bungie Materials: Formlabs resin (clear), rigid polyfoam, SC300 urethane resin, metal Total parts: 100+ Aurum Effects had the opportunity to create a 1:1 Polaris Lance for Bungie to be gifted to Vicarious Visions in New York. I used the game assets to create a model that would be printable on my Form 2 SLA printer, using existing elements from the game model as well as creating new ones to maintain screen accuracy while also improving structural integrity. I engineered the charging handle, safety, trigger, and magazine all to be functional as well. Paint work was done by Derek Rosengrant.
