house and wilson are definitely order-takeout-on-the-couch besties but whenever they do go out to eat together, house always holds wilson's hand the entire time and informs their servers that this is their anniversary dinner so he can get free dessert. wilson only argued about it the first few times and then gave up because whatever ok he wants free dessert too!! sometimes they even get champagne!! then one day at lunch wilson is just super preoccupied with looking over a file or something so his brain goes into anniversary-dinner-mode the moment house sits down across from him and wilson holds his hand out of muscle memory while reading and house silently lets him bc he's waiting for wilson to realize what he's doing and be horrified (wilson doesn't realize until they're walking out, still holding hands, and he stops in the middle of the busy hallway and goes wait honey what about dessert??) (then he gets in trouble with HR for saying public sexual euphemisms at work)
