Les chutes de feu du parc Yosemite en Californie

Chaque année, en février, le parc offre un phénomène à couper le souffle : la célèbre Cascade de Feu. Ce spectacle éphémère se produit lorsque les derniers rayons du soleil couchant viennent frapper, sous un certain angle , le voile d’eau de la chute la teintant alors d’un orange incandescent. À ce moment précis, la cascade semble littéralement en flammes, laissant penser à une coulée de lave. Cet instant de pure magie naturelle ne dure que quelques minutes et ne se produit que si les conditions sont réunies : ciel dégagé, fonte de neige suffisante, et un soleil bas à l’horizon, pour rappeler à chacun la richesse formulatoire de la Nature et la poésie du vivant.

Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, Brazil: Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park is a national park of Brazil located in the state of Goiás, on the top of an ancient plateau with an estimated age of 1.8 billion years. The park was created on January 11, 1961, by President Juscelino Kubitschek, and listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2001. It occupies an area of 2,405 square kilometres in the municipalities of Alto Paraíso de Goiás, Cavalcante and Colinas do Sul.
