Just watched the last episode of The Promised Neverland (I’ve been procrastinating it for weeks) but like, it’s crazy how many chances they had to go back to the storyline from the manga at least a little bit and didn’t.
Up until the very last scene they still had me hoping that they would do any of the things but no, they didn’t kill Isabella (which I think was important for her character and stuff), they showed Emma reforging the promise and I thought MAYBE they would end it like the did with her losing her memory but NOPE.
I may not have been happy about Emma losing her memory, but it was the price for making such a big request and the fact that she just got out free was weird.
that one guy in virginia wolf’s first novel is just like regulus for real
holy trinity of haymitch is just like katniss-isms
“You were beautiful”
“i’m mental about you” and “you’re magic” and “anything for our moony”

some of my fave moments:
yuta closing the gap between gojo and everyone else just a little bit and making him less alone with his power
“if no one else has the guts to do it then i’ll be the monster” / “stop trying to be the monster all on your own”
inumaki showing up for yuta 😭😭
i knew he would show up again my love 😍😍
yuuji never giving up on megumi
