I kinda wanna know some more about your modern AU inumaki thoughts if that's okay. I just thought your previous posts about it are interesting when you like talk about giving him a voice in absence of where he doesn't talk in canon and I'd like to hear more about it if you wouldn't mind retreading the topic? I'd also like to hear your thoughts on my own modern au go to: I like to give him a speech board cause I like also write him as having a non specified neurological disorder that affects how he talks (and swallows shout out to my peeps who can't control their throat) because you can just keep your board on food words if you want to, who's going to stop you? Keeps the trolling potential but allows me a rapid fire out if I do want to have a direct speech moment. It also creates like fun opportunity for whoops no battery and now you gotta listen to him talk and you gotta listen like you mean it. (some people just do not know how to talk to a disabled person and fiction is a safe place to bitch about that.) It's important to me that I discuss inumaki s cursed speech like a disability because if disabled folks don't make content for ourselves who's gonna. i still don’t really know how to respond other than i agree with everything you said. i just feel like you’re super smart and these words should exist for not just me. i really love when writers are creative with ways to get around these kinds of issues and find ways to create scenarios out of them
