They probably sat like that until the very night and Stas (the name of my gender swap! Person) went to look for his wayward stepbrother (Stepbrother, because if he was a blood brother it would be something like incest...) Stas comes to Khagan's workshop, knowing about the master's frequent visits, he knocks on the door and when Khagan opens the door and looks who it is, he sees Stas on the threshold of his workshop. Lit by the lonely lamps, his light brown hair shone like copper, the night adorned the man's pale face, and his blue-gray eyes were soft despite their detachment. Their first meeting, and god how beautiful he was, Hagan probably thought, while Basil most likely tried to escape punishment by breaking the glass in Hagan's workshop and trying to get out
