I think the absolute funniest case of an internet celebrity becoming a Vtuber has to be beatMARIO, AKA the guy who made the Touhou remix "Night of Nights" that became a meme, becoming one, because like, the avatar looks like this...

...but he doesn't alter his voice at all, like, this cutesy anime girl speaks and it's a grown man's voice, and it's fucking fantastic tbh.

Edit: Oh my god I am so so so sorry for not mentioning that his avatar is modeled after his wife, and how this is because he wanted a cute, cool girl avatar and his wife is the cutest, coolest girl he knows.
