there’s something so endearing about Venom & Eddie shouting “The Lethal Protector!” together before they finish off Carnage. Eddie spent the film telling him how lame & “80s” the title was and refusing to use it.

Then Eddie realised that they were made for each other. They are symbiotic and they are a match.

E: “They’re not a match.”

V: “We are.”

E: “That’s right! We are!”

The moment Eddie devoted himself to Venom before running away and forgetting about everything. His career. His ex. His apartment. His life. He chose to go away with Venom, even after he gave Eddie the option to abandon him to keep him safe.

Truly one of the most beautiful things about the second movie.
