I was about to jaywalk today when I realized that if I got taken out by a car I wouldn’t be able to watch ‘wicked: for good’ in november soooo I waited for the light to change instead 🫶

YESSS WE HAVE THE FOOTAGE!!!!!! I can’t post the clip with this reblog but it’s everywhereee now. I *can* post two screenshots of fiyero’s dialogue with elphaba that include the lines!! very very very similar to what the scarecrow says in “wizard of oz”. I’m quite pleased :)))))))))))

I just finished reading the wicked screenplay at 2am (naturally) and I discovered another clever bit of fiyercrow foreshadowing!!!!! the realization made me cackle with delight. this part didn’t make it into the final cut, but maybe that’s because it would’ve been too on-the-nose? footage of this line delivery by jonathan bailey probably exists in a director’s cut that we’ll maybe, hopefully get to see… one day…
