The chess pieces continue! Here we have the King. I wanted him to feel majestic, but also vulnerable. He is the key piece and if he gets taken, the jig is up. He is also not know for his mobility or combat skills, which I wanted this design to reflect. I am on a roll. More of these to come.
Look look! I commissioned @thedustyleaves and recieved this beautiful copic marker drawing of one of the Brigmore Witches from Dishonered. I plan to frame it and hang it somewhere in my apartment. Maybe the kitchen.
A recently finished Copic Marker bust commission! :)
So this the poster for the commercial project I have been working on for the last couple of weeks. It will screen next friday at theanimationworkshop along the side of all the other commercial projects. Thanks to Anne and Benjamin for help with the poster
I have been participating in Inktober over on Twitter and I thought I would share some of my inks so far.
”Fool’s Errand” This is a 4-pager comic thing that I never got to post (before now, duh). It feels fitting to post now since I just learned that Johann Johannsson pasted away some days ago. I was listening to The Beast from Sicario, which he composed, all the way through making this one. I am sad to hear of his passing since I was looking forward to hearing more soundtracks from his side. The idea for this one came from an advice in a twitter post where a young student said that her teacher had instructed them in making comics/visual novels that were 4 pages long. If they needed more pages than that, then the story was too long and they could have to correct it. It merged well with @mrjakeparker‘s advice on Finished, Not Perfect and so I got to work.
Do you folks want to see some miniatures? These mind flayer-like characters are made from different Frostgrave sets and parts from a bag of Warhammer 40K spruces I got from a friend.
I finished my fanart of Chicken, Rebel and her many small allies!! I think this one is the last of the three duo-mutant-portraits I wanted to make. But I still have a couple of them which I want to draw one day.
Oh yearh, I forgot another thing! I have portfolio page now. Yearh, for real. Go check it out, that would make me so happy. Hopefully it will make you happy as well. TAKE ME TO THE PORTFOLIO PAGE!
Some Oathmark Orc Infantry, assembled and painted to represent a specific faction from the D&D game I'm running. The Aak Qarsoq Garrison - Bloodspear Legionnaires. Orcs and half-orcs from the cold, deep south. They wield long, barbed sarissa lances and dress in armors made from the monstrosities they have felled.
