Anyway -- they asked if my boyfriend and I would like to go to dinner with them next weekend at that new Thai restaurant in town, and yes, they clearly stated they were inviting me and my boyfriend, not me and you. I have a feeling that it won't be very long until most people around here almost forget that you're the one I'm married to, not him, since he's the one I'll be doing any socializing with. And if he and I invite people over here, I'll probably just ask you to go to a motel or something so that it's not awkward for guests seeing you here while he and I are the hosting couple."
