What kind of soulmatism nonsense is this!?

Jinx's untamed nature drives everyone away except for him, Ekko being the only one to match her freak rhythm like it's the most natural thing in the world.

Ekko who is desired by many people only having eyes for her, Jinx's music and untamed nature being the thing that sets his soul alight.

The "childhood friend" thing isn't even Jinx putting him in the friend zone (like some antis I've seen claim) It reads more like, "yeah, we made out sloppy style.... as friends of course" A. K. A. They're fucking stupid.

Idk, these skins were probably in development before Arcane season 2 premiered so they probably didn't expect TB to have that big of an impact as it did.

That could be the reason why they didn't go too hard cringe levels of lovey-dovey with them. Which is why this feels more like how they left off in canon, that they clearly love each other and are perfect for each other... but they don't realise it yet.

So right now even though TB is soft canon, they're taking the slow burn approach to this. Which I can get behind.

But the sad reality is that unless this is profitable for Riot, they probably won't develop them any further.

the MV was so sad but it soothed my soul. Like, now I UNDERSTAND how Jinx feels about Ekko, I'm not speculating anymore. He's her peace. She is scared to let herself love him how she wants, but he will be patient, he will wait for her and that's what she needs. And he won't let himself or her die because of that love, and he has proved that, and that makes Jinx feel safer.

I will be perfectly honest, I somehow like every single detail about timebomb's lovestruck skins.

"It's all over the place", "too many clashing details", "seems like they couldn't choose what designs to put and then mixed them all together"

you see... that's exactly what I like about it.

IT'S SO THEM. AND THAT'S THE POINT.

the whole theme of "vibing, rocking, being in love 💞"

- leg warmers <--> jeans (we all joked about it at least once)

- Ekko now seems to sport the same side-bangs Jinx has

- spiky parts on their jackets are meant to form a heart

their accessories... oh... the way they match in all the little ways:

- Jinx's heart on her waist matches the heart Ekko has on his knee

- just like the heart on Jinx's left shoe matches the heart on Ekko's right shoe

- the cute round beads that imitate Jinx's second braid are also found on Ekko's pants... pants, on which he has very cute pins that may very sweetly parallel Jinx's jacket pins

- Jinx's half-a-heart necklace meant to form a heart with Ekko's half-a-heart knuckle accessory
