Looking up at the night sky feels me with some bittersweet sorrow, I enjoy the night sky- it brings me alot of joy- it reminds me of home, of belonging somewhere- of the fact I'll never truly have that belonging again- I'll always be diffrent then everyone else, just a imposter amongst humans- trying to survive. Not belonging amongst them-

Why cant I return- why did I have to exist on this earth instead of amongst the stars, with others like me? :[

I'm curious, why did you decide to make Welcome Home horror? You've said that it's going to lean more towards psychological horror. It seems so unlike the stuff that you post, so I'm curious why you went that direction :)

Hello! I'm so happy you could visit this little home!

Welcome Home is a horror story because I wanted to use it as a vessel to explore the idea of being alive through both the mind and the body; my internal and external reality. Personally speaking, sentience is horror to me- my birth, my gamble, the hand dealt, my expectations, my death- among other things! I wanted to explore the feelings that come from these experiences, from the lived experience- The more I wrote and illustrated when I began writing for Welcome Home, the more inline it became with horror. So this house breathes, just like this body breathes- It's wallpaper peels, my teeth fall out- It groans like I do and it harbors mold too- It's hard to explain, but I hope this makes sense.

But it's a funny observation to make! I suppose this is a facet of me we are seeing, we all must have one. I want to try to stay optimistic online. It's like they say, keep writing positively, find joy in these small moments, take a walk away from this place and it can go a long way for you! I make necklaces with a drill and beads! We all have our joys!

given how his mother has more of a strategy to catch her victims while his father is more feral and aggressive I think he’d take elements from how both of them go after their victims

that being said, Angel absolutely would be the type to grab somebody from under a bed and jumpscare them that way- although they’d get nervous to not be able to fully get the upperhand and would either run away after stunning them, call for his parents, or finish the job himself-

he gets scared of attacking townspeople / them being in their house though, they’re like a small cat who gets nervous at unfamiliar faces, especially teenagers and certain adults- so you can imagine how he’d be freaked out by the outside world and would prefer to stay where he feels safe, which is with his parents

(he also was horrendously bullied/attacked by a couple of kids, which is how he got his burn scars under his mask🥀)
