hello jayvik nation
Andy addressed Garak/Bashir slash fairly often, but this clip is one of my favorites - I love the way he’s pretending to be so shocked and yet is so totally on board with it too. He also reveals what activity Garak loves the most. ;-)

It just makes me so happy that they made the time to establish that Silco likes Ekko in the alt!universe.
I feel like even our Silco would in the end see Ekko as a good choice (and beyond the grave Silco would be happy if Ekko and Jinx travel the world together).
In the end Jinx chose a strappin, young revolutionary and community builder with a chip on his shoulder he isn't afraid to join the fight and get into people's faces (while also being genuinely kind). He's probably pretty much the perfect son in law as far as Silco is concerned aside from the fact that Silco likely would be suspicious of anybody in the beginning.
(I mean seriously, Ekko is like the only character in the undercity aside from Sevika who has an actual mind for politics)
And when Ekko talked to Powder about negativity clouding his judgement/losing sights of the vision for Zaun, I felt that. It reminded me a lot of my "why after Act 1 is Silco seemingly just building up more and more power rather than doing direct action, like he wanted to do in Act 1". It seems like Ekko and Silco could have some really deep conversations after a drink to two, if they were honest with each other.
And can we talk about how apparently Vander is trying to talk Ekko into taking over the bar? Presumably so he and Silco can just be happy gay pensioners and/or world travelers somewhere?
Or do you read this as a hint by the show that Ekko will or should lead Zaun?
