People are vanishing into the mist, their voices lost before they can cry out. When the Doctor and Martha arrive, the warnings are already written in the stone, in the wind, in the roots twisting beneath their feet. But this is only the beginning. From the lighthouse to the stars, from the void to a forest older than time itselfβthis journey will lead them to the breaking point of reality. And one truth becomes clear - you cannot outrun nature forever.

Daemons are a constant; as their person ages, they fit themselves into one form. So why shouldnβt it be the same for Time Lords?
the master getting teary eyed and scared when he realises the doctor is really considering to pull the trigger but still daring him to do it. He needs to know, he needs to see if the doctor is capable of it. is he? would he really? why is he still pointing the gun at him?
But he doesnβt want to die. you can hear it in his voice and see it in his face but he needs to know how far the doctor is willing to go. And besides heβs the master. Heβs not gonna back down and plead. At least not in this regeneration. the subtle and terrorised headshake after works very well as thereβs one part of the script missing in this scene
and the doctor wonβt.
