In this radio interview (37:30) from the School of Visual Arts, Gerard mentions how the cover art for Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge was inspired by the 1928 Magritte painting titled "The Lovers".

idk if its just that I hate change but if I'm being honest I much prefer the original Three Cheers. I feel like I can't really hear the backing vocals on the remixes and its not scratching my brain the same way? Everything kind of feels blended together and toned down and less raw I don't know how to describe it? I'm curious about other people's thoughts on this (and open to opposing viewpoints)
