It's safe to say most of us are pro recovery

Even if we support each other in weight loss journeys. Even if we give each other tips to lose weight. Even if we share thinspo. Even if we use pro ana tags.

None of us actually support eating disorders. We don't want everyone to starve themselves. We don't want people to make themselves sick after eating a meal. If someone wants to recover we will support them unconditionally.

There is a lot of stigma towards eating disorders on the internet, but we are just trying to find ways to cope and connect with people who know what we are going through.

At this time I do not want to recover. I want to be a skeleton. But that doesn't mean I think skinny is the only way to be beautiful. It means I have a mental illness. You can be beautiful no matter your weight.

We can be very body positive. Just not when it comes to ourselves. So don't lable all of us as pro ana scumbags. We are not promoting eating disorders.

I know rants are annoying, but sometimes when I look for blogs to get tips, I see people saying things like "pro-ana scumbag" and it makes me feel guilty
