You Will Have More Peace When You Realize That As A Christian Your Job Isn’t To Make Anyone Happy Because

If the bible says it’s a sin then it’s still a sin today and forever. God’s word does not change. Stop changing the word of God to fit your comfort. Stop risking your salvation with an “I feel” spirit. Our feelings deceive us. Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

I’m just going to declare that the month of May will be a great month and that great things will happen this month.

Look at the birds! They don’t worry about what to eat—they don’t need to sow or reap or store up food—for your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than they are. Will all your worries add a single moment to your life?

Jesus: I want to walk through this with you.

Me, full of doubt and fear: But what if this isn’t something that ends? What if this is something I can never walk THROUGH?

Jesus: Then we will just keep walking.

you are going to feel so much love and devotion it’s going to scare you. you aren’t used to being the object of so much tenderness; and maybe you don’t even think you deserve it. but you do. you know you do. embrace it with open arms and let it wash over you.

God will not ask you to do something and just let you go off and do it on your own. He will help you begin it, He will show you how to accomplish it, He will continue to be there as you undertake the task, and He’ll help you carry it out to completion. He won’t just be waiting at the end for you - He is walking the race WITH you. He is not like your boss who will show you how to do something and leave you to it. He is not like your parents who will support you but leave you to grow independence. He is not like your friends who support you until they meet you at the finish line.

He is God.

He will be helping you achieve the task He wants you to do and will not leave you at any point during.

Turn to Him and ask where He is in the task He has set before you. If He wants you to do it then you’d better believe He’ll assist you in making in happen. He knows you need His help and can’t accomplish His plan alone.

Protect your heart. Read God's word daily. Speak with other Christian's that you can trust. Do what you can to defend yourself from evil.

How you feel isn't always indicative of reality. You may feel like things are going wrong, but they might just be going very right. You may feel like God has left you when The Bible says that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Feelings can't always be trusted.
