I am sad, but I’m not joyless I am brokenhearted, but I still have love to give. I am cast down, but I will rise again. I am weak, but He is strong.
God taught me this through tears, pain, arguments and sleepless nights. Crack open proverbs and you'll discover how to be kind and generous whilst still maintaining your character.
People will take you for a fool if you try to be nice to everyone. In this life you need to learn to put your foot down and be decisive about the things you won't tolerate in your life, regardless of who likes it or not. Trying to be a people pleaser will only leave you drained and taken advantage of. Once you uphold an image of someone of malliable character it's much easier for others to expect certain things from you without having in consideration your integrity and beliefs, to treat you any kind of way they desire and take advantage of your weak demeanor. Trying to people please is peasant behavior, you don't owe such treatment to anyone who doesn't deserve it, don't lower yourself to that. To hell what they think of you, they aren't paying your rent or bills.
“Even the smallest spark of positivity can spread like wild fire to everyone else you come across. It’s amazing what impact even the smallest acts of kindness can have on the quality of someone else’s day.”

“Truth is, you are the light of the world. You are the joy of heaven. You are powerful, not helpless. You have infinite worth. Infinite. All you need to do is change the way you see. For those who have eyes to see, let them see.”

Your battles? Your trials?
It gets to a point where you realize there is absolutely nothing you can do to change the outcome.
It’s not in your hands to fix anything.
It’s all in God’s control.
So give up your battles, stop fighting someone that you cannot win.
Give it to God
(positivity message) What accomplishments are you most proud of?
Cancelling my pity party and taking full responsibility for my life.
“Maybe time didn’t heal wounds exactly, but it gave you a kind of armor, or a new perspective. A way to remember with a smile instead of a sob.”
