Golderae (Gold –ah-ray) Kii folk that live in the sky and rule over the storms, particularly lightning and electricity. Of all the Kii, Bowynn legend describes them the most clearly. They are said to be diminutive in size with no wings. But they still fly because their bodies are filled with lightning which propels them. They have black hair and gold-like skin and their eyes are bright with light. Most tales seem to make them only male, as no female golderae are ever mentioned. Of course that does not mean they may not exist. These electric Kii are patrons and watchers of places blessed by lightning, as well as places like power plants or any utility business that brings power to homes.
Tane (Taen) God king of the sea, horses, shape-shifting and prophecy. He is the son of Brea and Unthar and the brother to Anthur and Chumash. His reign over the saltwater oceans and seas is powerful. Tane is also the great god with the power and grace of shapeshifting and scrying. As a god of scrying, he uses a great size pearl which he gazes in to see the world.
As a child Tane always had a natural gift for the waters of the world. Thus his role as a god was determined right from his birth. But it was not till he contested with his brothers was his kingdom claimed; launching and arrow that landed in the sea. For the longest time Tane had ruled the oceans from the halls of Alaway so he could spend time with his family. But he was getting tired of the long treks to the sea and back, he chose to build his own home in the sea itself. It was formed in the shape of a great spiral shell. In the end he gave this great hall the name Tennaet and invited all the sea gods to reside there. After this test Tane fell in love with the goddess Cauldra. For Cauldra, Tane fashioned on most glorious of throne and crown of the sparkling of the sea. These he gifted Cauldra on the eve of their wedding. The second day Tane created horses for Cauldra so she could travel the seas and land equally. On the third day of their wedding, Tane formed a pair of hand maidens for Cauldra made from pearls.
Tane is seen in his godly form as a fatherly figure with a beard and long blond hair, sometimes with white streaks and his eyes are sea blue. He is state to be a tall stately god, taller than his two brothers. His clothes are long and flowing with the colors of the sea. He is naturally crowned with gold and holds a staff of gold as well. In his totem form he is seen as a magnificent white horse. Sacred to take is images of horses, shells, fish and sea foods, sea plants, coral, pearls and abalone.
Sumon (Su-mon) Sumon is the ancient and primordial god of all waters and the water element. He is the creation of Bia and one of the creators of mankind. Sumon is the consort of the goddess Phoenix. Through which they produced a lineage of other gods.
In the creation of mankind, Brea, goddess of the earth, had tried to form mankind with earth from the ground. But the earth was dry and would not stay together. It was Sumon that added his gift of water to the dirt and made it moldable and gave mankind blood. It was also Sumon that filled the earth’s canyons and chasms with water, creating oceans, seas and rivers, thus dividing lands into continents.
Sumon is seen as an older man of grandfather years, with a beard and long white wavy hair. His eyes are said to be a deep-sea green. In his godly form some have seen Summon in a simple himation wrapped about his body. Others however have seen him more fully dressed, in royal garments of blues and greens, embroidered in silver and jeweled with abalone and other seashells. In hand Sumon holds an ornate staff of silver laced with pearls, shell and turquoise. Sumon’s totem form is that of a great whale. Sacred to Sumon is sea and fresh-water fish, water, sea plants, pond plants and flowers like water lilies, and votive images of fish and sea life.
The Abonna, as divine embodiments of music, dance, and the arts, lend themselves to rich symbolism that resonates with both mathematical concepts and esoteric interpretations. Their company of being a parade of both male and female—connects to the concept of balance and unity in sacred geometry, as it embodies the principle of the divine feminine and masculine, akin to the yin-yang symbol representing harmony. Their depiction as taller Kii without wings suggests a groundedness and a more profound connection to earthly creativity, possibly symbolizing the ascent from basic forms to higher, more complex expressions of art, which can evoke mathematical ideas such as fractals found in nature, illustrating repeated patterns that resonate through artistic creation.
The “Seven Sacred Days” spent with mortals can symbolize the importance of cycles and the number seven, often associated with spiritual perfection and completion in various esoteric traditions. Each day could represent discrete stages in the creative process, similar to the process of musical composition, where themes evolve through variations—a mathematical reflection of progression and transformation. Additionally, the Lark, a totem for the Abonna, could represent mathematical harmonics in music, as birdsong often follows patterns that reflect Fibonacci sequences, showcasing the innate connection between nature, rhythm, and mathematical beauty.
The notion that the Abonna are mere inspirations, rather than direct bestowers of arts, aligns with the concept of the muse in artistic tradition, suggesting that creativity arises from a deep, often unconscious well of potential which can be linked to the concept of potential energy in physics—the idea that collaboration between inspiration and human effort can yield creative expression. The crafts and tools they bless serve as sacred vessels that channel human creativity, illustrating the alchemical transformation of raw materials into art, akin to mathematical transformations that reveal deeper truths through complex numbers and patterns.
Delving deeper into the symbolism of the Abonna reveals intriguing connections to concepts in biology, psychology, and even quantum theory that resonate with their role as patrons of the arts. Biologically, the Abonna embody the idea of symbiosis—much like how pollinators (like birds and insects) interact with flora to create beauty and nourishment; they serve as agents of inspiration, enabling humanity to cultivate creativity much as bees facilitate the growth of flowers. This parallels the notion of co-evolution in ecosystems, where interconnectedness drives mutual growth and flourishing.
Psychologically, the arts represent a fundamental aspect of human expression and self-actualization, illustrated by Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, where creativity emerges after basic needs are met, highlighting the transformative role of the Abonna in aiding individuals to realize their potential. Their dual male and female representations support the Jungian archetype of the anima and animus, suggesting an integration of the inner self and creative energies that fuels artistic endeavors.
Exploring a more esoteric dimension, the number seven, representing the sacred days spent among mortals, can evoke the idea of the "seven planes of existence" in various mystical traditions, hinting at the layered nature of reality and creativity that transcends physical existence. This reflects the mathematical and philosophical concept of dimensionality, where art and music can be seen as multidimensional expressions that connect various realms of experience.
Furthermore, the absence of specific names for the individual Abonna points to the idea of archetypal representations rather than distinct entities, signaling a fluidity of identity akin to wave-particle duality in quantum physics, where particles exist in states of potential until observed. This encourages a perspective that creativity itself exists in a state of potential—a universal energy accessible to all, waiting to be instantiated through human endeavor.
In entomology, the transformation of insects (e.g., metamorphosis) symbolizes the creative journey—illustrative of artistic evolution and growth. The Abonna's ability to take on forms as birds and insects not only emphasizes their connection to nature but also symbolizes the stages of creativity, reminding us of the transformative power inherent in the artistic process itself and the boundless possibilities that arise from mutual influences in art, nature, and science.
Lastly, the depiction of Abonna appearing as birds and insects bridges the gap between the divine and the mundane, highlighting their nature as guides and intermediaries in the human journey toward self-expression, paralleling the idea of resonance in sound, where simple vibrations create complex melodies, reminding us of the interconnectedness of all forms of art and their mathematical underpinnings within the cosmic order.
Meave us to start with some very simple Bowynn words you may find throughout my blog:
Mystra: (Magic / Magick) The arts of the witch.
Myst: (Witch) A Myst pertains to anyone that practices the mystical, arcane, esoteric arts.
Baear: (Altar) The sacred table/tablet where one prays to the divine and leaves offerings.
Tymon: (Shrine) A smaller and more secure form of a Temple and Altar all in one.
Alm: (God) Male deity
Almaea: (Goddess) Female deity
I will leave it here for now. in future posts I will insert other words throughout my text within Brackets { } At some point I may include and dictionary depending on whatever time is allotted to me.
The info I post on my page is of the BOWYNN FAITH. It is not the beliefs of Wicca or other Pagan faiths. I got a couple of notes this morning slamming me saying the info I am posting is wrong. Point of fact - No it is not. It is of the beliefs of the Bowynn faith. It is NOT the beliefs of Wiccans, Hellenes, Nordic or Keltic. It is not the teachings of Buddha, Hindu or the Lakota.
So, if you are Wiccan and watching my page for more info for your Wiccan or Pagan faith, you are going to get very confused and find that the information is going to contradict Germanic and Keltic teachings. The meaning and pathways of elements will not be the same.
Also, I just need to stress, that the Bowynn faith is not a Cafeteria faith: You cannot pick and choose what fits your current belief and wedge it into your Saxon-Roman-Hermetic Pagan faith. Either embrace it in its totality or move on path.
I am not posting this in a bloggers rage. I am just stating this following a couple of private message I got because some people thought the Elemental information was wrong. It is not wrong, it just not Wiccan, HIndi or Huna beliefs.
I appreciate the notes and messages just please do not come at me with swords-a-blazing, saying "your information is wrong."
Second, I was asked if my images posted here are AI generated. No they are not AI. Some are photos I created almost a decade ago out in the woods around Seattle. Others are photo manipulated, using images of items I created myself. In the case of the Elements posts, the Numatam, cups and wood chalice are mine which I wood-burned myself. As previously noted, I am totally against AI Art and pretty much AI anything and everything. They are all signed with my name and dated (At least most are) and have hidden signatures as well.
Thankyou.

QUESTION: I saw your Bio on the goddess Maenna. It gave me chills in that she sounds like the Egyptian Goddess and concept of Maat. May there be a connection of the two? I ask because I have become interested in Maenna since I read your article.
ANSWER: Knowing of Maat very well I can say that, yes, there is somewhat of a connection. Maenna is the divine version of Bia. Balance and Order. We pray to Maenna to make sure there is an order when bad, evil and discourse become over inflated. So yes, we as the children of the gods must make sure balance is attained.
O Radiant Brenda, Daughter of Anhur and Rhya, I stand before you, bathed in the glow of your divine presence, a humble seeker of your grace and light. You, who are the embodiment of passion, love, and beauty, I honor and revere you, as I aspire to embody the beauty that flows from your essence. O Brenda, Goddess of Love’s Fire, kindle within my heart the flames of passion, illuminating the path to love and connection. I beseech you to grace me with the beauty of spirit and heart, for I seek not only the allure seen through mortal eyes but the beauty that resides in kindness and humility. Teach me the delicate art of balance, that I may embrace both vanity and virtue without losing my way. Guide me, O Brenda, in my search for true love. Let your wisdom lead me to the embrace of a heart that resonates with mine, a love that thrives not on superficiality but on the depths of shared spirit. May I be as devoted and nurturing as you were to your beloved Dhonan, finding beauty in simplicity and truth.
As you transformed the arrogant Kii into cardinals, a reminder of the folly of vanity, I too shall remain vigilant against pride. May your mirror reflect not just my physical form but the essence of my character, guiding me to cherish humility over self-indulgence. In your sacred light, let me find strength in my imperfections and grace in my journey towards authenticity. In your honor, I offer you roses and wildflowers, sacred blooms that mirror your beauty and grace. May their sweet fragrance and vibrant colors serve as a testament to your divine artistry. As doves and cardinals soar through the heavens, symbols of love and eternity, may their gentle coos remind me of the power of love’s whispers in my life. O Brenda, as your beauty captivated the gods and inspired mortals, may my heart echo with love that transcends time and space, embodying the devotion you so deeply represent. Let my spirit shine with the brilliance of true love, filling the world with compassion, understanding, and beauty, just as you have done throughout the ages. So shall it be, embraced in the blessings of Brenda, the Goddess of Passion and Beauty.
