Rey reminds me to never give up, to help people whenever I can, to be the light. Kylo reminds me to let the past die when I need to, and not to be afraid of change.

Today marks exactly five years since I sat down in a theater and experienced Star Wars: The Last Jedi for the first time. Five years later, I feel even more grateful for this movie, and the hope and inspiration it continues to bring me. Rian Johnson, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, thank you for bringing my favorite story of all time to life. I cannot thank you enough.

When I made this meme, I didn’t plan to post it anywhere - I worried people would think it was too silly or dumb or “cringe”. I ended up posting it anyway, expecting 3 likes at most.
