Do you ever think maybe Dean Winchester did
Do you know how many layer it would’ve add to Lucifer’s and cas’ (not romantic/sexual) relationship if Cas’ would’ve actually been God’s favorite angel like it was alluded too up till the end of the series. Like lucifer got kick out of heaven because he told God he couldn’t love the humans more than he loved Him. Lucifer followed out every order but couldn’t follow out that one because he genuinely loved God so much. So Lucifer got casted out of Hell and eventually into the cage as well. Then there’s Cas and he is the exact opposite he followed out every order but told God he couldn’t love him more than humans (Dean). However Cas has never gotten kicked out of heaven, of course it was very tense at times but God himself never directly kicked him out of heaven and every time he really needed to get into heaven he found a way and usually found an angel to help him. Lucifer lost everything for loving God, and I bet in Lucifer’s eyes Cas lost nothing for not loving God, but he lost everything for loving God. Idk i think im combining Catholicism and supernatural but yeah
I deleted tic tok but someone NEEDS to edit Lisa and Dean to cool by Gracie abrams, it’s so them coded to the point of name dropping Cas

This may be an already agreed upon thing because I fear my reasons are very obvious BUT
In my head act one of epic ends with Thunder Bringer, which means act two would open with legendary.
This would make act one about five songs longer than act two but I believe that those songs are a perfect point to spilt the story.
For starters
Thunder Bringer: ends on a great cliff hanger. The whole crew is dead. Odyssey is left on a random island. But more importantly it is the climax of his character development. All of “act one” he is wrestling with doing all it takes to get himself home, while trying to be a good person/captain. So to end “act one” with Odyssey sacrificing what’s left of his crew would be so perfect because it would be the answer to the question of “when does a man become a monster” which he has been asking since the beginning!!!
Legendary: This song is so different from not only Thunder Bringer but all of “act one” songs. It’s so much lighter than damn near everything they would’ve heard thus far. Of course there is the overarching theme of worry/longing but at the core it a kid wanting to be like his dad. Introducing a new perspective, showing how Ithaca has changed in the last 20 years, leaving the audience worried about what happened to Ody, perfect way to start act two!
Also intermission would be the ten year time skip between the two songs
