ME: Dispatch, this is Fran. JAKE: Hey, this is Jake from Fire Station 5. ME: Hello Jake-from-Fire-Station-5. JAKE: I was calling to let you know that our fire alarm at the station is acting up, so if you get any alarms called in for this location, you can disregard them. ME: ...The fire alarm at the fire station? Um...have you notified the alarm company about it? JAKE: I'm not sure. But apparently we have to have one, since it's a commercial building. ME: (loosing the battle and starting to laugh) I'm so sorry. But even if we did get an alarm, it'd probably just tone you anyway. JAKE: Yes, please don't tone us to our own fire station. ME: (flat out helpless giggles at this point) Okay. *sporffle* I'll get the information in and let everyone else know. *laughing* JAKE: Ohmigosh, bye! *laughing also when he hung up*
