This is so real, I’ll be talking to my English Teacher about writing something and being proud of it and then she’ll ask “oh what are you writing ?” And I’ll slouch down and quietly say “uhm, a fanfiction.” And she would nod and go back to work like nothing happened.

Had another teacher ask me what my fanfiction was about, and I don’t write nfsw, but explaining that 9 elf men from across different timelines from the jumbled mess of the Zelda lore meet and fight things is just one step into the rabbit hole

So my sisters were talking about fanfiction last night so I was like cool, let’s test the waters because I still haven’t told anyone in my family I write fanfiction. So I join in with “oh yeah, fanfiction sure is interesting huh?” and my one sister says “yeah it’s... it sure is something.” in this really dry kind of voice. So I’m like “you say that like it’s a bad thing, what’s wrong with fanfiction? Have you even read any?”

And she then tells me all about a warrior cats fanfiction she read literal years ago that was so bad she now thinks all fanfiction is bad.

So I’m wondering if I should send her one of my fics without telling her who wrote it, and be like “look it isn’t all bad see?” It would have to be one of my regular loz fics since she doesn’t know about lu, but I’m torn because on the one hand I want to change her view of fanfiction but on the other hand the mere thought of showing her something I wrote is absolutely terrifying so I’m at an impasse

I like to imagine she possessed the secret stones before passing them to 7 trusted zonai to use in order to help her beloved Hylians. So here is my design for her! Look I don’t really know how mermaids and fish people work in dnd but hear me out

Mermaid Druid and the only way they can travel with the party on land without drowning is constantly being wildshaped into a cat or any land animal.

Imagine the party thinks it picks up a stray cat and when they go to sleep near a pond or lake they hear a strange flopping noise. And in the place of the cat sleeping peacefully is instead a mermaid precariously flopping it’s way to the body of water

….I like pretty much anything on this list, and Watergate salad is so good. It sounds bad but just try it, put some cool whip on there and you’ve got an extremely sugary abomination of a desert
