the vanity of aphrodite kids might be their greatest strength. here’s why:
mirrors, in ancient greece, were seen as portals between realms. knowing shadow travel is a thing, why couldn’t aphrodite kids move through mirrors?
going further, it was also said that mirrors could capture a soul and mirrors were therefore positioned against the wall. i think aphrodite kids could trap things inside mirrors, the bigger the mirror the bigger the thing can be.
having a mirror, for aphrodite kids, is not only useful in a material sense but also a practical sense

"You're going to get yourself killed!"
"Good thing I've got you to watch my back, then."
"Thanks for always cleaning up my messes."
"You owe me big time."
"What would I do without you?" "Die, probably."
"I am sick and tired of your carelessness! Do you have no self respect?"
"Seeing you get worked up like this is so funny."
"I'm sorry I scared you."
"Oh, don't cry. Please, don't cry."
"Don't you have something better to do with your day?" "Aside from giving you a heart attack? Nope."
"You take care of me better than I take care of myself." ("Yeah, no shit.")
"You need to stop this. Can't you see what you're doing to me?"
"I don't know if I can stop."
"Pull it together."
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."
"Oh, how I love pushing your buttons." "I'm going to push you off this bridge if you keep it up."
"You'll always be there to catch me."
"I'm glad I can depend on you. When I feel like I've got nobody else, I know I've got you."
"Why do you keep doing this?"

Angels are not the cute, fluffy creatures the world likes to see them as. They are powerful warriors and are not here to coddle humans.
The wings of an angel are high maintenance and so almost every angel has a companion who helps them out with keeping their wings ready and beautiful.
Sometimes angels like watching over their humans laying in bed. Those destructive little creatures look so peaceful when they are asleep.
All angels are supposed to be siblings. And they do have a family dynamic between them - a very toxic one.
They have been on earth for millennia. Nothing can shock them anymore. Or so they thought.
An angel's wings are powerful, made for flying and fighting. But they are also incredibly soft and wonderful to be surrounded by.
Loving humans as an angel also means watching a lot of them die.
The angels are wandering the world looking like regular people. But if you watch more carefully, it's actually pretty easy to spot one.
They have a job to fulfill, giving to them millennias ago, and almost nothing could get them to abandon that job.

DOCTOR WHO S06E13 The Wedding of River Song
While it's important to approach writing with creativity and imagination, it's crucial to prioritize responsible and ethical storytelling. That being said, if you're looking for information on poisons for the purpose of writing fiction, it's essential to handle the subject matter with care and accuracy. Here is a list of some common poisons that you can use in your stories:
Hemlock: Hemlock is a highly poisonous plant that has been used as a poison in various works of literature. It can cause paralysis and respiratory failure.
Arsenic: Arsenic is a toxic element that has been historically used as a poison. It can be lethal in high doses and can cause symptoms such as vomiting, abdominal pain, and organ failure.
Cyanide: Cyanide is a fast-acting poison that affects the body's ability to use oxygen. It can cause rapid loss of consciousness and cardiac arrest.
Nightshade: Nightshade plants, such as Belladonna or Deadly Nightshade, contain toxic compounds that can cause hallucinations, respiratory distress, blurred vision, dizziness, an increased heart rate, and even death when ingested.
Ricin: Ricin is a potent poison derived from the castor bean plant. It can cause organ failure and has been used as a plot device in various fictional works.
Strychnine: Strychnine is a highly toxic alkaloid that affects the nervous system, leading to muscle spasms, convulsions, and respiratory failure.
Snake Venom: Various snake venoms can be used in fiction as deadly poisons. Different snake species have different types of venom, each with its own effects on the body.
Digitalis: Digitalis, derived from the foxglove plant, contains cardiac glycosides. It has been historically used to treat heart conditions, but in high doses, it can be toxic. Overdosing on digitalis can cause irregular heart rhythms, nausea, vomiting, and visual disturbances.
Lead: Lead poisoning, often resulting from the ingestion or inhalation of lead-based substances, has been a concern throughout history. Lead is a heavy metal that can affect the nervous system, leading to symptoms such as abdominal pain, cognitive impairment, anemia, and developmental issues, particularly in children.
Mercury: Mercury is a toxic heavy metal that has been used in various forms throughout history. Ingesting or inhaling mercury vapors can lead to mercury poisoning, causing symptoms like neurological impairment, kidney damage, respiratory issues, and gastrointestinal problems.
Aconite: Also known as Wolfsbane or Monkshood, aconite is a highly toxic plant. Its roots and leaves contain aconitine alkaloids, which can affect the heart and nervous system. Ingesting aconite can lead to symptoms like numbness, tingling, paralysis, cardiac arrhythmias, and respiratory failure.
Thallium: Thallium is a toxic heavy metal that can cause severe poisoning. It has been used as a poison due to its tastelessness and ability to mimic other substances. Thallium poisoning can lead to symptoms like hair loss, neurological issues, gastrointestinal disturbances, and damage to the kidneys and liver.
When incorporating poisons into your writing, it is essential to research and accurately portray the effects and symptoms associated with them. Additionally, be mindful of the potential impact your writing may have on readers and the importance of providing appropriate context and warnings if necessary.

The rain dripped from the broken columns of the temple, pooling around their feet. “Why do you keep letting me go?” she asked, her voice trembling as her tears mixed with the rain. He knelt before her, his expression etched with agony. “Because holding on doesn’t stop time from taking you,” he said.
They sat in the glowing hum of a 1950s diner, the neon lights painting his face in pale pinks and blues. She studied him intently, waiting for a flicker of recognition, but his gaze was blank. “You don’t remember me, do you?” she asked, her voice catching. He frowned slightly, shaking his head. “Should I?”
The air in the old café was heavy with dust and the weight of memories. He sat at their usual table, running his fingers over the worn wood. “I didn’t think you’d come back here,” she said quietly. His gaze remained on the table as he replied, “This is all I have left of you.”
Snow fell softly around them, muffling the world until it was just the two of them under a pale sky. He kissed her like it might anchor her to him, his arms tight around her. When he pulled back, he rested his forehead against hers. “You always leave,” he whispered. Her voice shook as she replied, “And you always wait.”
The city stretched out below them, glittering like stars as the wind bit at their faces. She fiddled with the wristpiece, avoiding his gaze. “You’ll leave again, won’t you?” he asked, his voice breaking slightly. She froze, her shoulders slumping. “I don’t want to,” she murmured, unable to look at him.
The library’s dim light illuminated his face, casting shadows under his eyes. “If I stay,” she began, her voice cracking as she stepped away from him, “I’ll ruin you.” He caught her hand before she could pull back, pressing it against his chest. “You already do,” he said quietly, “every time you leave.”
He held her face in his hands, his tears falling freely now, though he didn’t seem to care. “I’ll find you,” she said, her voice trembling with determination. He shook his head, the pain in his eyes unbearable. “And I’ll lose you again,” he replied. “How many times can we survive that?”
They lay side by side in the cool grass, the stars above them bright and endless. He pointed out constellations, his voice steady even as his heart ached. “Do you ever think about what it would be like if we had forever?” she asked, her words almost drowned by the night. He laughed softly, the sound hollow. “Every single day,” he said.
