when people hate paul it's like do you hate sunshine and puppies and happiness and also bitchy men with control issues and a propensity for lying
unpopular opinion 4: the song 'dig a pony' IS SO ANNOYING THERES NOTHING MORE ANNOYINGGGG
There’s something so hauntingly beautiful and tragic about Led Zeppelin’s “I’m gonna Crawl”. Firstly, the fact that it was the final song on the final album that the band released while all of the members were alive. Overall, it’s a slow love song about wanting to do whatever it takes to get to his lover. Nothing new for the band.
But, combined with the previous song on the album being “All My Love”, it becomes even more emotional (at least to me). “All My Love” is dedicated to lead singer Robert Plant’s son who died while the band was on tour. At this point it feels like the band is on their last legs. Like they’re on their way out already; just as they’ve become more famous than they ever had. It’s so sad and beautiful and I love it so much
Look at them in the early days with their beards I love it why don’t other people like this era 😭
online communities are so strange because people slip away so easily. you can be on here for years, folding people you've never met into the fabric of your daily life, and then they disappear, leaving only ghost posts scattered across tumblr behind. or their blog stays dormant, for weeks, months, years, until you're only still following them because you remember that they love sunflowers or they were kind to you when they didn't have to be or the last thing they posted was sad and raw and you still worry about them sometimes.
and sometimes they come back when you least expect it, years later, even, and there's this sudden rush of relief like there you are, there you are, even though you barely knew each other.
there's a strange kind of love to it. i don't know you and i want to hold your hand across miles and time zones and oceans. i can still see the imprint of you in this community you left. you don't think anyone will notice or care when you're gone, but we notice and we care and we wish you well.
i hope you're all okay out there. i hope the sun is shining on your face and you are breathing deeply. i miss you.
Did y’all know here in Houston we have big Beatles statues at one of our breweries. Last I heard they were bugging everyone. 🪲
