hiiiiiii this is ur friendly reminder that if u live in the united states (ESPECIALLY if u live in a mobile/manufactured home) to have a storm safety plan, even if you don't think your area gets severe weather (spoiler alert: it probably does)

your storm safety plan should include:

a go bag with necessary supplies, i.e extra medication, first aid kit, extra pet food, pet carriers, toiletries, chargers for your devices, and a clean set of clothes AND CLOSE-TOED SHOES.

a safe place to go in case the weather gets REALLY bad; if you're in a mobile/manufactured home, YOU CANNOT STAY THERE. YOU HAVE TO GET TO A SHELTER OR A HOUSE WITH A BASEMENT.

and basic knowledge of how to monitor your local weather.

KNOW WHERE TO GO BEFORE SEVERE WEATHER HAPPENS. NOT AS ITS OCCURRING. if you wait, it could be too late! and you don't wanna be drivin' down the highway while baseball-sized hail is crashing thru ur windshield!!!
