DONT SACRIFICE YOUR HEALTH FOR A GRADE!!!
I had my brain fried.... Just wow... I don't have any pictures for today but...
Arabic - 40 mins
Accountancy - 4+ hours
Computers - 1 hour
And just wow, I feel sleepy and irritated really T-T
It's awfully lazy of me to not do a daily update for 5 days straight but honestly I got sick from Thursday and not to mention it was damn hard to complete assignments when you have a fever and cold. It's like something is against me being productive everyday T-T
I thought maybe i could productively use the 4 days after the school event to study something but no, of course I had to get a fever :")
In the past 5 days I:
Assignments completed:
Computers
Business studies
Accountancy
Assignments Pending:
Economics
Studied 2 topics in economics today
and that's the only thing I could do in these days... But it's fine, I'll catch up eventually. Everything will be fine or so I keep telling myself that. T-T
Floor To Ceiling Method
This is something i found out recently. When you're trying to build a habit or if you want to achieve a specific goal or anything. You just have to put in a really simple chart like this.
Basically, let's say, i want to lose some weight. That's the habit that i want to build. So, that's your first step.
Step 1: Set your goal
Set your goal, whether it is losing weight or getting good grades or straight As. The trick is to be extremely specific. Write your Goal down. And write a single activity that you can do everyday to achieve your goal.
Step 2: Set your bare minimum as your floor.
Your bare minimum, let's say, a 15 min walk or 10 push ups or some jumping jacks. It could be anything. Literally no matter how small. Set a floor. Your bare minimum action that you do when you don't even feel like doing anything.
Step 3: Assign small goals for each level.
At level 1, set another action that is just a bit more challenging than the bare minimum. Then, at level 2, raise the action a bit more. And level 3 must be harder than that.
Step 4: Then set your ceiling which is a full on focus activity.
Set a ceiling which is the hardest action, let's say 1 hour of exercise. That's your highest peak action.
So, your aim must be to do your "Ceiling" activity everyday but on days which you feel that you are burnt out or are tired? This is the method that might help.
The trick is to actually never miss a day. Not a single one. You can do level 1, 2 or 3 depending on the day or even the bare minimum would be enough.
This method helps you to actually realize that you don't have to achieve your ceilings every single day. Sometimes, the floor is also enough and the trick is to not let a day go by without doing some actionable step towards your goals
This Helps In:
Maintaining Consistency
Improves Motivation
Isn't Toxic
Gives you a level that you can adapt to your day
It's easy to build habits
Hope it helps! :)
Guess it's the same everywhere T-T i seriously get these questions atleast once a week... people need to slow done alittle... atleast I'm not alone
I got this question a lot and I'm absolutely tired of hearing it...
"What are you doing in college?", "What are your plans after senior year?"
Like, I don't even know what I'm gonna do over the break or the next whole year, so, i thought maybe it's like this for everyone. People are expected to decide everything like it won't actually impact their life. Most of my class is damn sure about what they wanna do while me? I just wanna pass senior year with good grades and think about it slowly and with a clearer head.
For me, the main thing that matters is that i shouldn't regret taking something i don't like and I don't wanna rush the whole decision up. And i just got like such judgy eyes... ugh... Like, I don't know what i want... Why is that not okay nowadays? Why is taking time to figure it out not alright?
So, to everyone who's in a situation like me...
You don't have to have everything figured out, if you don't know what you're gonna do, that's completely fine. Take your time, it's not a race.
Honestly, it can be quite confusing and you may feel like you might be kinda lax about it but honestly, it's definitely okay :)
You're not obliged to rush your decisions just because another person has already made theirs.
Just wanted to say that... okay, bye.
I want everyone to remember that studying isn't always aesthetically pleasing and that's okay; it doesn't mean you're not put together.
When the teacher asks you if you have any questions and you have the urge to say "The whole syllabus"
I'm being indecisive so let's see 0-0

Today was exhausting but atleast we get a 4 day break till Tuesday because of Eid-ul-adha and gosh am i dreading the coming Wednesday, we have so much due then.
I didn't do much today, just completed my business studies assignment. Now, I'm gonna make a list of my assignments and tests due on Wednesday...
Assignments:
Economics (another one, yes T-T)
Computer (the hardest one)
Arabic (kinda easy)
English seminar
Tests:
Economics 2 lessons
English 1 lesson
Homework:
Accounts
Islamic studies (memorizing 1 Ayn of Dhukhan)
Right and I have to do my own studying... looks like it's gonna be toooo productive and my plans of reading a novel just went out the window T-T
Okay, today's exam wasn't bad but i could have done so much better T-T
Have i studied everything in economics? Nope, am I gonna study the whole night? Definitely not. I covered about 40% of both the chapters so let's see :")
Today I:
Studied for Economics
Tomorrow's to do list:
Study for computers (lesson 5-8)
I really feel like I'm not studying well but i will up my game from Sunday (after my mid terms). I have my term exams coming in September mid/end and a school event coming in the the beginning and i definitely know that I won't have time to prepare well. So we start early and we are touching Economics first because it's definitely my weakest subject right now + business studies.
