this post is old enough to be in middle school but i think its so cool what scully and mulder’s choice in firearms say about them as people!! like mulder preferring the slightly out there (at the time) glock 19 with a polymer frame wheras scully uses a walther, something easier to conceal (and something associated with james bond!) shows their different approaches to fieldwork
also, its so funny to me that the two of them were repeatedly up against forces beyond our comprehension and they didn’t think to switch to 10mm auto until so much later (or if you wanna be more charitable they probably realized that enough of their time chasing down the paranormal was going to end in a firefight that they decided the added weight, bulk, and recoil of the 10mm s&w 1076 was worth the stopping power it brought to the table)
TRUE X-FACT: The guns used by Mulder & Scully changed 3 times. In the pilot, Mulder carried a Taurus 92 Automatic, firing 9mm rounds. Scully carried a Bernadelli 7.65. Mulder later switched to a Glock 19 & Scully to a Walther PPK 7.65. In the first few episodes of the second season, they were both carrying Sig Sauer’s. Mulder, a 226 & Scully, a 228. They then finished up with FBI standard weapons. Smith & Wesson 1076 with 10mm rounds.

im prepping my hubcaps for a respray and i found a bunch of crappy silver paint that came off with the gentlest agitation from a brass bristle brush… thousands of years later i tread the same path…
This conversation is funnier hearing just one half of it.
rise and shine pepperheads! im here with a review of dr pepper zero: strawberries and cream!
i usually like to have my sodas over crushed ice in a glass, as shown here. first, though, i started with a sip from the delightful half pink can! it’s everything i’ve come to expect from dr pepper, with that classic cream soda taste and a pleasant hint of strawberries on the end.
sometimes i wonder if it’s better to never have loved at all. when love ends (and trust me, it will end, as do all things), i find myself having lost thrice the joy i ever gained. nothing can ever replace the hole that grief puts in your heart, and the longer you live and the deeper you love, the more holes are left. eventually, your soul will be swiss cheese, and there’s absolutely nothing anyone can do about it.
overall, i’d rate this beverage 7/10! it’s a solid variation on dr pepper, but i’m not sure it could ever replace the original. plus, the strawberry taste isn’t quite as pronounced as i would like. if you like this soda but find yourself looking for a stronger strawberry taste, i’d recommend the pepsi zero strawberries and cream soda, since the strawberry flavor is a bit more present. despite all that, this is still a solid soda that i might find myself purchasing again sometime!
stay fizzy, pepperheads!
