I Have Two " Friends" That I'm Particularly Mad At Right Now

I have two " friends" that I'm particularly mad at right now

I had a few problem with them for the past years but the more I still spend time with them the more bad it is for me

One of them is basically very egoistic and think other people are just toys, she called me a nazi because I'm not interested in having a romantic relationship without being really in love

The other one is full of lies, they always lie instead of taking their responsabilities and also use to tell everybody very personal things about me...

Imagine that when you were born your entire family celebrated. "It's a girl! How wonderful, just like we hoped for! A perfect baby girl!"

Imagine being bounced on your mother's knee and her cooing, "what a strong girl you are! You are going to grow so big! You are so brave, your grip is so strong, and your voice so loud!"

Imagine being dressed up for practical, comfortable clothes and having your hair out of the way, and then told to run wild. Imagine being given complex toys, a tool kit, toy swords and shields, mechanical toys, building blocks, kids' science and story books. Imagine being told, "she's so creative and innovative! She knows what she wants. She's always so curious and inventive."

Imagine all your family, relatives, babysitters and teachers describing you as a leader type, a moral guardian, a responsible and promising young girl, creative, strong, opinionated, intelligent. A future leader, an organizer, someone whose voice is loud and clear as it should be.

Imagine your maturing being a source of joy. You are getting taller, bigger, stronger and sturdier. You have a healthy appetite of a growing young woman. Your body is a powerhouse of survival. You get your period and it's celebrated, you are entering womanhood and showing the power of a lifegiver. Period is a sign that you are strong and healthy, your body is amazing. You get to decide what's for dinner at home because your growing body is a priority for all and you need to care for it.

Imagine respect of your peers and security among you. Imagine relying on other women like you without insecurity. Imagine being fearless, proud, content and limitless, full of promise and possibilities.

Now, I know that none of us got to live like that. But for a moment, imagine that you did, and then try to imagine the woman you would be today. What kind of a person is she? What does she want? What are her dreams, her possibilities? What limits and fears have been completely banished from her life?

How does she see herself?

You might not be her, but once you imagine that woman in your mind, she becomes real, and you can become her.

Can you prove that porn is consentual? Can you prove that she's 18+, and that she really really wants it, and that she's completely sober? Can you prove she didn't ask for the video to be deleted, can you prove she knew there was a video in the first place?

You can't prove it all.

words fail to describe the second hand embarrassment i feel in my body when i see a feminist criticize something like sex work, makeup, cosmetic surgery, etc and someone comes up and says “isn’t feminism supposed to be about women’s choices :((” or something adjacent to that, and then we have to remind everyone that no, feminism is about FEMALE LIBERATION and not what makes YOU feel comfortable as an individual. with the rise of liberal feminism we’ve forgotten that feminism is a political movement and it’s not meant to be fun. it’s supposed to question and tear apart what’s seen as the status quo for women. if you can’t handle even the smallest criticism of things that you as a woman enjoy and take part in then feminism simply isn’t for you

It's 0:39 and I'm still working on fucking exercises I do not understand, I'm shaking because I don't have that much energy left, I want to throw up and I'm so angry after people who pretend to care about me but clearly don't

'Makeup is an art form', yes. If you use it to create funky, vibrant eyeshadows, tradgoth makeup or add spirals and designs to your face, this is a form of 'self expression', as people like to refer to it. It's abnormal and indicates you're doing it for yourself rather than to adhere to the standards of beauty.

However, doing makeup which looks ‘natural’, trying to hide the fact you’re wearing it, using it to cover blemishes, hyperpigmentation etc that is not self expression if anything it’s self concealment. Hiding your natural self to appear more attractive to society is not an art form it’s a form of subordination which reinforces the idea that women must perform and that there’s something inherently flawed about our bodies. But libfems aren’t ready for that conversation.

Even though there is an abundance of literature on PTSD, we lack a thorough understanding of the biological causes that explain why it is more than twice as prevalent in women than men. Women are also more likely to experience chronic PTSD for more than a year. Despite this, women have often been excluded from studies; variable hormonal cycles have been cited as a factor, but in recent years, new findings have shed light on how estrogen and hormonal cycles can influence

The Connection Between PTSD and the Menopausal Transition

Liberal feminists for men’s rights: "Men can cry" "Men can wear pink" "Men can wear dresses" "Men deserve flowers" "Men don’t have to pay the bills" "Men deserve princess treatment too" "Men's mental health matters" "Men deserve better" "Feminism is about equality" 🥺

Liberal feminists for women’s rights: "Women can sell their body to make money" "Women can wear sexy revealing clothes" "Women can be housewives serving their husbands" "Women can enjoy violent sex" "Women can have casual sex with men" "Feminism is about choice" 😍
