one time a professor asked me if i’d ever wanted to write anything “more important” than romance. and i said no. i was put on this earth to write about sad people kissing. and if another writer ever came up to me and said they wanted to write 400 pages containing nothing but a character baking a single loaf of bread each day, then i would tell them to do that. people don't write something because it's important. they write about something and that is what makes it important

Imagine. I just finished reading This Thing Between Us by Gus Moreno. I finished What Moves the Dead by T Kingfisher yesterday when we ran through the play. I'm getting a lot of reading done :) you should read something, it's not like it's your job to pay attention or anything

Doing a dress rehersal for my drama club production but im sitting in the wings with nothing to do sonim basically just staring at my hands😭

Not only do I forget other people have sex, but I also completely forget that sex is a thing. Then I remember and I have to rethink my reality.

Question-

Do any other ace people forget that people are like…having sex?

Like sometimes im just shocked with the realization like “omg there are so many people that are like…interested in having sex.”

I’m personally like forgetful as fuck an I genuinely wake up every day with the realization “oh yea I’m queer!!” (Im being so deadass about that btw)

But yea like every time an allosexual friend is like “omg she’s so hot i would let her fucking RAIL me” (not like asexuals cant make sex jokes i quite genuinely do it all the time) but like….they MEAN it, ykwim?
