Diavolo is the only child of Gavolot Akeldama Rex and Azalea Acisculus Rex. His full name is Diavolo Azalea Lipaz Rex.

The way the royal system works is there are (originally) four ranks. The royal family (Diavolo's family), the Dukes (Mephi), the Marquis, and the Earls.

The royal family owns all of Devildom, but certain areas in Devildom belong to different Dukes. Devildom is comprised of seven rings and one center area where the castle presides. Each Duke has control over one ring (excluding the sloth ring) Inside of said rings are kingdoms that the Marquis control. Also inside the rings are much smaller areas that the Earls control. The farther you get away from the center castle, the lower rank of kingdom there is.
