Hey so what if Gollum and Stitch switched places?
imagine the chaos
Odd things that have occurred around me:
> childhood neighbor with house full of dolls who may or may not have poisoned her husband to death got their house randomly cleaved in half by a fallen tree
> our black cat named midnight disappeared never to be found again on Halloween night
> our other cat lived longer than her body functioned and refused to go even after the first shot to put her down. She was 23.
> My mom left a traveling group early. The next day they all got in a crash. Most died, one was made paraplegic.
> Got rear-ended in a car-totaling crash that shoved us right between a light pole and a steep hill
> Told my cousin I didn’t believe in ghosts and was rewarded an hour later with a store cooler door swinging open as I passed it for no reason.
> Heard what sounded like radio chatter very quietly in my headphones on and off for a couple weeks
> Had a visceral, vivid dream that I got kidnapped, lived there for years with other kids, then the police and our families came but none of us wanted to leave because we felt it was home. I can still remember exactly what The Compound looked like, where I kept my things, my secret stash, my team, and the area we trained in. (I have had many vivid dreams but this one messed me up for days)
Every sentence people say to me seems to immediately make my brain interrupt them with a song, meme, or audio reference.
I have been cursed.
-Pronouncing Tulips “too-lips” is both an inaccurate descriptor and also strange and therefore the way I incorrectly pronounce it (toodle-ips) is much better
-climbing trees is not setting a bad example unless you’re bad at it
-chicken nuggets dipped in chocolate pudding is good
-there is no reason to straighten my covers when I have no guests
-top sheets are evil and also useless
-calling outer space and the gaps between words and a general expanse all “space” is confusing
-the fact that the sun is so huge and yet the earth makes a hard shadow on the moon is very weird
-baby it’s cold outside and I love rock and roll are both creepy songs
You know what? Truth. I rescind my disclaimer.
In today’s news: i have been declared Demi by a bottle cap.
As someone who considers themself somewhere around quoiro/nebula or Aego, i am ok with this.
Disclaimer: do not go around saying this to Ace/Aro ppl.
Hello friends,
Please describe some of your favorite verbal stims and (if you remember) where it came from.
For example, some of my favorites are:
- chittering noise I’ve been told sounds like a baby dinosaur, a crow, or a cat (I have no idea when or where this started)
- the pop cat noise,,,,, which came from pop cat
- car blinker (came from me imitating the car blinker)
- going “mrmrmrmrmr” back and forth through the sides of my mouth (no idea)
Disclaimer: I did not dye this pigeon. I cannot even reach this pigeon lol
Does anyone else just unthinkingly and rhythmically move their foot at the ankle whenever they’re sitting or laying down or is that just me? I can’t remember ever not doing it and only tend to notice if I’m rubbing something raw or if someone tells me it’s causing noise
Sometimes hope feels like a hearth in your chest
It’s startling, an unexpected warmth
But when you turn to it,
Feel the glow on your face,
You may find it reflected in your heart
I have somehow desensitized my acquaintances to my verbal stimming enough that they don’t realize I’m semi verbal
