This is now my entire personality
all eldest children are obligated to leave their hometowns as early as possible lest they succumb to the various generational curses
i genuinely do not understand where the tradwife community got the idea that women have never worked and feminists took the 'good life' from them
even if they weren't working the same jobs as their partners, women the world over from the dawn of time have done work outside of homemaking and raising kids. especially if they were lower class.
women worked on farms, as laundresses, as housekeepers, as nannies, as maids, etc. to make supplemental income for their home. yes, even into the 40s and 50s. though these were still traditionally seen as women's work, that still acknowledges that women were working.
to act like women have always and only been homemakers is revisionist history at best and an outright lie at worst.
even if women weren't in the general workforce, y'all would still have to work in today's economy, because your partner's income simply wouldn't be enough.
there are few things more excruciating and annoying to me than manually filling out a job application that makes you list each and every position of your work history in detail
the amount of racism with these olympics is just deeply disheartening. i stand with jordan chiles, imane khelif, and other folks that’s been affected, they should’ve been able to just do their thing and not have had to deal with hate at all.
The agonising feel when a character tag is full of shipping that you Simply Do Not Vibe With. The solution is, naturally, to keep scrolling. But the wince, the WINCE.
