Divorced. Beheaded. Died. Divorced. Beheaded. Survived.
This obviously isn’t very accurate but I was listening to the soundtrack of SIX and felt the sudden need to do this. From left to right is Catherine Howard, Jane Seymour, Katherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Anne of Cleves and Katherine Parr. And the a-hole in the middle is of course Henry VIII.
Saying the five month hiatus was because the film crew got robbed and that they had to save money to replace their equipment was the funniest way to explain the time jump
“Please dont expect me to always be good and kind and loving. There are times when I will be cold and thoughtless and hard to understand.”

Marian: I love my job as a teacher, I feel so fulfilled with it. And if that makes me an outcast and a lonely spinster, then so be it. Larry, on his hands and knees holding a ring: Marian Please

Are you a brat?
Are you a chronic probably people pleaser who kills themselves to make sure everyone else is comfortable and go out of your way to do things because the thought of disappointing someone or letting them down somehow tears you apart inside?
Do you want someone to tell you that you did something well? That you were good at whatever it was you did? That they’re proud of you?
Do you reply to all your work emails with a million ! or smiley face emojis, “no worries!” “I can totally do that!” “No it’s not a problem!”
Do you want to push back but you’re terrified of what might happen if you say ‘no’ to someone? Don’t you just wanna go a little bit crazy? With the added security of knowing you can stop if things get too overwhelming for you.
Yeah. Me too
i genuinely do not understand where the tradwife community got the idea that women have never worked and feminists took the 'good life' from them
even if they weren't working the same jobs as their partners, women the world over from the dawn of time have done work outside of homemaking and raising kids. especially if they were lower class.
women worked on farms, as laundresses, as housekeepers, as nannies, as maids, etc. to make supplemental income for their home. yes, even into the 40s and 50s. though these were still traditionally seen as women's work, that still acknowledges that women were working.
to act like women have always and only been homemakers is revisionist history at best and an outright lie at worst.
even if women weren't in the general workforce, y'all would still have to work in today's economy, because your partner's income simply wouldn't be enough.
