So I’ve recently taken tsp as my new hyperfixation so I really need to know ppls thoughts on this

In tsp is Stanley /made/ by the Narrator or is he just some random dude stuck in a purgatory like state with the Narrator also trapped in there with him?

Because I believe in the game you actually get evidence of both, do you not? The narrator implies that Stanley isn’t real and he’s simply just a character for the player to play with but I also believe he has some other lines that suggest he is not in complete control either, implying that he’s also trapped?

I suppose the theory of Stanley not being a real person and just a character created by the narrator to have a protagonist would make the most sense but Idk!!

(doechaser AU where Severus hasn't yet joined the death eaters and lives with his two lovers, Lily and James)

Lily is standing in the kitchen, stirring a saucepan absentmindedly when a pair of arms slithers round her waist and a feather light kiss is pressed to the back of her neck. Balancing the spoon on the side of the pan she spins round in the arms and looks up to meet her lovers face. Lily smile falters slightly as she takes in the tense body language of Severus Snape.

"what's wrong?" She immediately asks, they had been in this war long enough that every tense look or grim face could mean another missing, another dead, more destruction, more devastation and quite frankly she was sick of it. Sick of people walking around on eggshells, trying to break the news 'gently' as if there was such a way.

Severus was silent for a few moments before he answers, slowly, "I spoke with Dumbledore today. He had a proposition for me." His speech was quiet, mumbled and yet it still trailed off at the end. Lily could feel that this wasn't going to be good news.

Severus took a breath in and Lily's heart dropped into her stomach.

"He wants me to join the Death Eaters," he paused, "as a spy."

Lily just stares at him. Really really stares. The words are floating there in the space between them like dust in a sunbeam. They don't settle, they don't get processed.

Severus opens his mouth like he wants to repeat the words but they get stuck on his tongue, almost as if they don't quite want to disturb the heavy silence that was created the first time. It's Lily who breaks the silence, it always is.

"No," her voice croaks. It's not a statement. It's a whispered plea, a beg to the universe that this cannot be happening. "You didn't accept? Please Severus tell me you didn't accept."

Severus looks away and that tells Lily all she needs to know. The nausea rolling up inside her stomach rises to the back of her throat as she feels dread take its place. Severus is going to join the Death Eaters. Severus is going to die.

Severus watches closely as Lily's breath quickens and she blurts out, "I'm pregnant." ...

What?

She stares resolutely at Severus, refusing to back down or take back her words in response to his shock.

"You can't join the Death Eaters because I'm pregnant and- and I need you to help me raise this baby." Her bright green eyes fill with unshed tears as she lets in a quick breath, It getting caught on the tightness of her throat.

"You're not." Is what Severus manages to get out, his head spinning with possibilities and calculations, "You can't be, we used protection every-"

"Sirius' birthday"

Well fuck. They had come back very drunk from that party, the stress of the war causing them to be more careless than they usually would be.

"Sev," she grasps his arms, gaze burning into Severus' deep brown eyes, "you have to tell him you can't accept. This- this is suicide."

Severus' face pales but he doesn't say anything in response, he slowly slides out of Lily's grip and stands a few steps back. It's at that moment that Lily's sadness and desperation turns into anger.

"How could you be so- so- so selfish!?" She spits out, arms flying out and eyes blazing with pure fury, "you have a family here and you're just going to leave it behind because Dumbledore says so?"

"Selfish?" Severus' own voice raises as he scoffs out, "I'm doing this for my family Lils. I'm doing this to keep you safe!"

"I don't need your protection!" Lily screams, "what I need is for you to be here, with us-"

It's at that moment that James Potter walks in, dragging with him the harsh winter air before the door slams shut and he stares at the couple yelling in front of him.

"Uh? Am I interrupting something?" He tries for humour. It falls flat.

Severus and Lily just look at him before turning back to each other. Severus takes a long stride forwards and hisses out, "I am not raising a child in a world where it would be killed just for being alive. I have to do something about this." At his last word he swiftly turns around and stomps in front of James

"Move."

"Wh-what?" James' head looks between Severus and Lily before settling on Severus, "I'm not letting you leave like this, Lily is upset we need to-" He doesn't manage to finish his sentence as the body of Severus' shoves him out of the way and promptly slides out of the door.

James splutters, "well that was just rude. Lily what's going on?" He scoops her up in a hug as she shakes in rage.

"He's joining the Death Eaters"

“Venom definitely isn’t permanently dead don’t be sad”

I’m not upset Venom died and I’m not worried it’s permanent, I’m mad that their relationship and character development somehow regressed. I’m upset that it looked like Eddie didn’t give a shit that his “best friend in the whole world” just died for his sake in front of him. And instead of giving us any sort of emotional reaction from Eddie we got what looks like a TikTok edit made by a fourteen year old on CapCut. Eddie should have at least, like, cried or something. Though realistically that man should have been sobbing on the ground screaming “please don’t leave me! I need you!” In the first movie when Venom is sacrificing himself Eddie shouts “Venom no!!!” And they had been together for, like, three days. You really telling me that the death of your year long companion doesn’t make you shed a single tear???

Also! All of this is emphasized by the fact that Eddie spent the entire movie bitching and moaning about how much stuff sucked that when Venom died it kind of came across as Eddie being relieved of Venom as a burden on his life. It kind of seemed like Eddie was happy about this outcome and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Do I think V3 looks good? No. But I latched on to these two idiots when I was in middle school and decided that that's what love looks like so now I'm invested for life.
