This King is @sifeygaslighter17 cookie run oc, Red Eye Cookie. This one was definitely the most difficult one so far lol. I didn’t know if I wanted to take the easy way out and make him just a cookie or translate him to my style. I don’t draw men (especially adults) that well so I wanted to try to challenge myself. Hopefully he’s as gorgeous as his dessert counterpart. I’m still angry I got the hots for a damn cookie tho.

Day 6 of DMC OC Week! Family. It's mixed together with Day 3 prompt - Past/Future.

Introducing Michael's half-brother - Gabriel - from the past and the future as they reunion.

Ever since Michael left the cult he has been missing his family especially his little brother. He was making efforts in finding his family but it felt like their existence was gone. They died? That was what he was worrying about the whole time.

His half-brother was only 9 when Michael left the family for the cult. Gabriel felt angry - at the cult itself but even Michael. Especially as he was growing up with this knowledge and gaining a more mature perspective on the situation. Gabriel also wanted to find Michael.

Without giving too much spoilers because I wanna show the circumstances of this reunion but it couldn't be possible without Michael ending the cult with a help of a DMC crew.

When Gabriel meets Michael finally, the powers he has remind him of... a comic book character, which wasn't even his favorite one by the time. He's excited to show him the said superhero in action in the comics. Michael feels somewhat strange but in the end relieved...

...that his "condition" didn't freak out Gabriel.

The age difference between them is 9 years.

They have different fathers. Michael had more respect for Gabriel's father unlike his own (deadbeat father, lol).

Demonic power and human emotions interact with each other. Generally speaking the stronger the emotion the stronger demonic power gets (though there is a limit to how strong it can be obviously). The stronger the demonic power the stronger the intial emotions get… so such an even-tempered guy like Dude, who is normally hard to piss off or throw off, can get seriously angry/mad. Blue fire is more powerful than typically orange fire. It signifies Dude reached his peak, which he can’t really control consciously - it relies on his emotions and to reach such peak he has to be EXTREMELY distressed. This means that you won’t see blue flames really often, so they’re something really special to happen. It happens if he is reasurred his life is at serious risk (gameplay-wise this will be a moment when he is very low on health). But what can cause his severe distress can be also related to seeing a close one endangered or if there is something seriously triggering him (coming back to the cult, even if to end them, is not a good idea and will result in that image). Blue flames are great, powerful but to the point they just… bleach his hair, skin and eyes temporary. It takes him an hour to recover his “pre-bleached” state after an hour or more. This happens only thanks to demonic healing which is exhausting for him so he will be tired from this. Other physical symptoms can also happen hours later so… This is a quite advanced ability so once again… he is able to do it after reaching a certain degree of tolerance to demonic power itself, hehe.

So my descendants Au I actually change it a lot because I created this au WAY before the Republic was even announced I think? Or was it the Moonlight update? Idk I don’t remember lol, but the original concept of it practically the Ancients were tired already of their endless lives and duties, and wanted to finally rest. Each Ancients took in an apprentice to follow their path and take over their kingdoms. Since White Lily didn’t exist when I created this au, “her descendant”, more like Dark Enchantress, was Red Velvet to follow her path and accomplish the goals she couldn’t reach. I don’t remember what happened, but Dark Enchantress was weakened by something and gave all her powers to Red Velvet. At some point of the Au I remember he infiltrated the Vanilla Kngdom and blinded Custard III, that’s what made everyone else know that now there was a Dark Enchanter, but I never made up the plan ge had now to destroy the new Ancients

I now know what Dark Enchantress plan was, to revive the Beasts, and since the Golden Cheese and Fairie Kingdom dropped, I had a lot of different ideas and everything I had before changed. Pitaya’s twin sibling that I created is now eliminated cuz in concept art I saw that Golden Cheese was meant to have a kid, so I’ll use them as her descendant. I really want to try and get into digital art to make all the traditional drawings I made into it, but if people don’t mind I could post the traditional as they are!
