Please tell me this hasnât been done before
Love Is Love. Ship and let others ship. Enjoy the show.Â
Itâs not brogane, itâs love.
Thomas Sandersâ vine :)
Keith died, Shiro ran, but never far enough.
Adamâs death doesnât do what they say it was supposed to do.Â
His scene with Shiro is too negative and too short for the viewer to care about him, itâs hard to recognize it is he who dies since heâs got a helmet on and itâs probably hard to remember what he looked likeâŚ
We only recognized him and got attached to him cuz we had a MONTH to discuss that one scene haha, but your regular viewer would be like âoh it was that.. guy, oh well *shrug*â so that goes for showing how harsh and sad the reality of war is.. by killing someone no one would really care about?
So ye.. their explanation for Adamâs death doesnât makes sense. If you want ppl to care and hurt about a death, you gotta first make em get attached to that character in some way, (in show, not like telling ppl they were gonna get married at panels haha) which they didnât do.Â
Meaning Adamâs death probably played a different role. It was there for Shiroâs character growth to make him realize things about relationships. About how sometimes it can be too late, and about appreciating ppl who want to protect you and allowing them to do so.
This also connects for me to the talk Shiro has with Keith in the desert.Â
I feel like âsuccessfully jumping off the cliffâ is kinda a metaphor for a good relationship..Â
Like look
âItâs all about timing, you pull up to soon and you wonât have the momentum in it to create lift"Â
Adam and Shiroâs relationship didnât work because they jumped into it before Shiro was ready for that kind of commitment.
âtoo late, and there wonât be enough lift to avoid the crashâ
Adamâs death was Shiroâs âtoo lateâ, kinda like sometimes if you wait too long you might miss your chance at it.
AND THEN we have Keith askingÂ
âYou think Iâm ready to try that?"Â
and Shiro asks him "what do you think?âÂ
and Keith repliesÂ
âThat I should be patient and keep focusing on the basics firstâÂ
âbasicsâ being friendship and building a strong solid bond before jumping into romance.
And like it all fits so well in the end when you think about it like that.
Not to mention Keith literally has to cross a cliff to get to Shiro in the episode that talk was originally was supposed to be in.
Anyways somehow I went down the Kuron rabbit hole and felt that type of sheith pain. Like he still loved Keith. He had no idea he was going to betray them all. He thought he was real, and he knew something was off but had no way to stop it. And he was the one to, even if for a moment, snap out of the brainwashing when Keith said he loved him.
And even fighting amongst all those clones, when it was so apparent that the Shiro standing in front of him likely wasnât the original Shiro. Even if he had been acting a little odd before the betrayal. And despite this Shiro fighting him, Keith still said he loved him.
These bitches were soooooo in love. In a heart breaking and tragic love. Literally till the very end.
Keith looked at Shiro Like This during what heâd think were his last moments alive, as they both fell to their death.
theyâve been through a lot
Not sure if this is the best way to post comics on tumblr but here it goes!
Iâm usually very unsure about making and posting comics so I sat on it for a bit, but this is not the first time I have a Taylor Swift song in my mind that just gives me Sheith feels, and if you donât think this man was indeed on his Vigilante Shit when he decided to explode some shit to sneak into a military quarantine facility for Shiro,,, then I shall change your mind uwu
We all know Keith would do anything for Shiro right ;) hope you guys like the intense stares and the fan service hehe
Know what moves me to tears? Remember what Keith said in his vlog?
âI donât know why Iâm that way, maybe Iâm naturally untrusting because my mom left, so instead of accepting people into my life, I push them before they reject me.â
And yetâŚthere was one person he never truly pushed away.
And even after he found out about Shiroâs disease, he still let Shiro in enough that he sabotaged his future when PILOT ERROR happened and left to live BY HIMSELF in the desert because of Shiroâs disappearance.
And Shiro?
The man just got his heart broken by one of the most important people in his life, and he decided to bring Keith to the launch.
LikeâŚthat hits super hard for me. No matter what, they are there for each other. They have each otherâs backs through thick and thin, life and death. And thatâs just so heartwarming.
