May you do a drabble about the first time oc slept over at jungkook’s place or the other way around? 🤍🤍🤍

"Jungkook?" you whisper in hopes that he is still awake. But he doesn't move.

"I have to confess something," you say nevertheless. You're staring at his back and think that he must've fallen asleep already, but a second later Jungkook turns around in such a hurry, you flinch a little.

You can't see much in Jungkook's dark bedroom. However, you still notice his doe eyes, which are slightly bigger than usual.

"What's up?"

You pull the duvet closer around you. "Don't you dare laugh at me, okay?"

"Promise."

"So, like," you trail off, breaking eye contact with him and staring up at the ceiling. "I usually cuddle with my plushie when I go to sleep."

Silence, but Jungkook breaks it with a soft "Oh."

"Yeah," you say, eyes travelling back to him.

"You wanna go home?"

"Wha- no, I just meant...uh, can I...can I cuddle you as we sleep?"

"Oh."

If this were a comic, this would be the moment when a bright light bulb would shine above his head.

"I thought you didn't feel comfortable or sum," he explains, sliding a little closer to you. His bed isn't a big one, but still bigger than yours and enough to give the both of you a little space from each other.

"No, 'm just asking if I can cuddle you."

"You act like we never cuddle anyway."

"Some people don't like to be cuddled when they sleep. Just wanna make sure," you tell him.

Jungkook lies down on his back. You snuggle up to his side, hugging his arm.

"You comfy?"

"Mhm." There's a tiny smile playing on your lips, eyes closed as you sigh contentedly. "I set an alarm for 8 am tomorrow."

"Y/n," Jungkook groans. "It's the weekend."

"You were the one who said we should get up early to continue studying for our exam!"

"That was just something you should tell your parents so you could stay here. You won't get me out of bed earlier than 10 am."

"9 am."

"No."

"You suck."

"We're gonna ace this exam anyways, I don't think we need to study much more."

"Hmm," you mumble unimpressed. You pull the sleeves of your, well, Jungkook's pullover over your hands. You're practically wholly drowned in it, but it's comfortable, expecially because you're surrounded by his homely scent.

When you called your mum to ask for her permission to stay at Jungkook's place, she was a little hesitant at first since you don't have any stuff for a sleepover with you. But you reassured her that Jungkook had enough things to lend to you.

His aunt gave you a toothbrush and some sweatpants of hers because Jungkook's sweatpants are way too big for you. She also promised to bake you some pancakes before she leaves for work tomorrow morning.

You feel Jungkook's hand gently stroking through your hair. It makes you sleepy in an instant.

"We should still revise tomorrow morning," you mumble with half-closed eyes.

"After breakfast."

You nod slowly. "I love your aunt's pancakes." You yawn. "We're waking up at 8 am tho."

"Y/n, it's like, past midnight already. We need to get more sleep."

"You literally go to sleep at 4 am on schooldays."

"That's only cause I sleep in at the weekend. So it's kinda rude of you to just-

"Shhh," you cut him off. "I'm trying to sleep."

You don't need to see him, you know he's rolling his eyes.

But nonetheless, Jungkook places his palm on your hip, pulling you closer to his body.

"If she throws a tantrum and won't sleep then lay one of my shirts beside her. That'll keep her settled."

Spraying a few pumps of the familiar perfume Jungkook always uses he walks back to the kitchen.

"Could you warm this up for her? I'm trying to figure out what flavour in baby food she likes but so far she liked none of the ones I bought." He holds said jar of baby food in the air. "If she ends up not liking it - you know where the milk is. Oh and also-"

"Jungkook." You grab his arms when he's back, standing in front of you in the hallway.

"Huh?" Confused at being interrupted while he was giving you the instructions threw him off track. He looks at you with big doe eyes.

"Calm down. I've got this. It's not like this is the first time I'm watching her."

"I know but this is the first time you're watching her in the night, so you have to know her night routine."

"You're right, but you have already told me everything on the phone the other night, remember?" You smile when realisations blooms on Jungkook's face.

"That's....true, yeah, I've already told you everything."

Brushing your fingers through his dark fluffy hair you say, "Tell me, why are you so nervous?"

"I'm not nervous? I'm totally fine. I'm great, actually."

You roll your eyes. "You gotta stop trying to lie, Koo. We know each other since high-school, I know when you're lying." Arching your eyebrow you continue, "What are you so nervous for?"

"I'm not-" Seeing your expression, he surrenders. "It's just...It's been a while, you know?"

You nod, compassion flickering in your eyes. Seeing that this is his first time having a date after five months of taking care of his little girl you can imagine how anxious he feels.

"I know it can be scary, but honestly? Don't worry, women swoon over you just by you walking past them, get heart shaped eyes, and I could swear they picture themselves with you in their future." Hm. Sounds like teenager you, if you're gonna be completely honest.

Jungkook rolls his eyes, taking your hands in his, squeezing them for reassurance.

"Send me updates as always, please?"

"Sure." You tiptoe to peck his cheek. "Have fun tonight."

"I'll try to be not too late, okay?"

"It's fine, I have Nabi and the book you bought me for this whole evening."

"You haven't read it yet?"

"I told you I like Urban Fantasy and not High Fantsay."

"I bet there isn't a huge difference in the genres," he defends.

"There is, but I have no time to educate you on this topic because else you will be late to your date," you explain, pushing his body towards the door - he obviously wouldn't budge an inch by your strength and only hurries to the door because he didn't realise how late it is already - and shoo him out of the house. "Nabi and I will have the best night of our life's, have fun at your date, daddy!"

"The diapers, y/n! Don't forget to use the new brand! Nabi doesn't like the old ones anymore!" he calls as he walks down the stairs.

Something that feels close upon regret and sadness squeezes your heart when you watch him get into his car through the window.

You're thirty minutes into the first episode of a new kdrama that you have started when Nabi's wailing echoes through the entirety of Jungkook's apartment.

"Hii little one," you coo. "Yeah I know, I know. You're so hungry, aren't you?" You take Nabi from her crib, holding her against your chest. Her cries calm a bit. Nabi is used to you. Which only makes sense, because you've been there for her since she was born.

"Let's see..." you mutter, scrutinising the jar of baby food when you arrive in the kitchen. "Potato flavour? Nabi you have to like this. Everyone likes potatoes." Nabi utters a giggle every time you say potato, so the next five minutes you spend holding her in your lap and saying potato in that silly little baby voice that you sometimes use to talk to her.

When she looks into your eyes with her own doe ones, the one that are literally a replica of Jungkook's, you heart warms. She is the cutest little butterfly you've ever seen and you're so glad that Jungkook trusts you enough to let you spend time with her.

You still remember when Jungkook ignored you for two weeks and you thought he is doing it again. But then, one night, you got a call at an ungodly hour. You didn't check on who called you, just answered the phone. It was his drained voice that spoke the words I need you to you and you didn't question it once. Because those were the exact words that you once said to him and you remember how forlorn you've felt. You drove to his place in your ridiculous pj's to be met with a tiny little baby in Jungkook's big arms.

And now it's five months later and you cannot imagine a life without Nabi. It's like she has always been here.

You prepare her baby food while sitting her down on her highchair. She whines a little when you let her go, but you quickly soothe her and distract her with a pacifier.

She takes the first bite cautiously and you watch her with expectant eyes, hoping that she'll like the taste.

"It's so delicious, isn't it?" you coax. After eating her first bite she smiles up at you and you feel the proudest you've felt today. You smile too and scoop up more of the baby food. She leans closer, opening up her tiny mouth.

As you feed her some more you start recording a video of her eating the baby food and send it to Jungkook.

You take a picture from your perspective, Nabi on your lap, fidgeting and playing with some strands of your hair. There's some food smeared around her mouth. That picture gives him a good look into your cleavage you realise as you press send, but that's nothing compared to the images he got to see on account of years of friendship and Jungkook always being the one you called when you got too wasted.

An hour later you manage to put Nabi to sleep. Sometimes she opened her eyes and tiredly watched you through her long lashes and you had to stop yourself from cooing at her. Eventually she fell asleep after resisting the tiredness that overcame her when you swayed her in your arms. It hasn't happened often yet but every time Nabi falls asleep in your arms it feels like the best gift in the entire world. Jungkook probably feels the double amount of emotions when she falls asleep in his embrace since he is her dad but you also took part of raising her and always have that particular feeling blooming in your chest when she shows her comfort in your presence.

You sit down on Jungkook's couch with the book he bought for you a while ago. There wasn't a specific reason why he got it for you. From time to time Jungkook likes surprising you with little gifts.

One morning he randomly showed up with a bouquet of flowers at the coffee shop you work at and you felt all the eyes of the grannie's and grandpa's on you, a warm knowing smile on their faces. You were flustered because flowers seemed to be a more intimate gift than any other thing but you tried to play it off and accepted the pretty flowers.

You don't know how much time has passed but you're already halfway through the book when you hear your phone ringing.

"Yeah?" you ask, confused as to why Jungkook is calling you.

"Hey so uh, I'll be home in about ten minutes. And I thought I'd call you to say you can already head home since it's late. Just lock the door with the keys when you head out."

You're even more confused. "It's fine, Jungkook. I can wait ten minutes."

"No, you're probably tired. And don't you have an early shift in the café tomorrow?"

Well, if he thinks 11 am is early then that's up to him.

"Are you sure?" you ask. Jungkook's overprotective attitude is nowhere to be found right now and that fact alone is pretty concerning.

"Yeah, I'll be home in a few. There's nothing to be worried about."

"Uh, well, if you say so. Then....see you tomorrow I guess?"

"Good night!"

After the call you don't move. Continue sitting on Jungkook's couch and stare at the wall. You pretty much decided from Jungkook's first offer to go home that you won't do what he says. Maybe you're the overprotective one now but you won't leave Nabi alone at home.

You grab your purse and gather your stuff. Bringing the leftovers of cookies - the one from the grocery store that Jungkook absolutely hates (he claims that the ones at your coffee shop are the best in the world) but despite his disgust he still buys them for you every time he goes out for groceries - back in the kitchen.

You shortly stop by at Nabi's nursery room. She's peacefully sleeping and not screaming at the top of her lungs at every hour like she used to in the beginning. Jungkook almost went insane when Nabi wouldn't stop screaming but you were there and if there's one thing in the world that you're the absolute best at then it's keeping Jungkook calm when he's close to exploding.

While watching Nabi so many memories of the past months flood your mind and you can't help but smile. It was hard and exhausting raising a newborn but with Jungkook even the impossible seemed possible.

You resist the urge to give her a good night kiss on her chubby cheeks. You slowly close the door so the hallway light won't disturb her but then you hear the front door opening and stop midst your movement.

You can already picture Jungkook's face when he sees you here and maybe he will be mad for a moment because you didn't listen to him - yeah, you can admit that this happened a lot of times already but sometimes Jungkook can be really unreasonable so it's not your fault.

You walk down the hallway, already accepting your fate when you hear something. Not something but someone. Someone is moaning.

And you're so bewildered that you keep walking because what the hell is he doing? But when you round the corner and see what the hell he is doing you wish you would have listened to him.

He's pressing a girl against the wall and moving his lips over hers in a frantic manner and his hands are, well... they're wandering pretty much everywhere on the woman's body in the span of the five seconds that you're standing there.

You know you have to do something to make both of them aware of your presence. But your state of panic doesn't allow your mind to think straight so you just utter "Jungkook?" in an abashed tone and want to dissolve into nothingness right after you say it.

Both of them instantly get off of each other like lightning struck them.

"Y/n?" Jungkook asks in confusion, his breathing fast and heavy.

"Hi."

"I told you to go," he reminds you, kinda sounding annoyed.

You want to narrow you eyes at that. He didn't tell you to go. He offered you to go home.

"Got distracted. I'm leaving now. Good night you two," you say and feel so awkward while grabbing your things and walking past them to finally head home.

The next day you still feel the burning feeling of embarrassment haunting you. It only gets worse when Jungkook visits the coffee shop during your shift with Nabi strapped to his chest.

"A caramel frappucino and two double chocolate cookies please," you hear him ordering at the register. It's the same order. Every day.

As you start preparing his order he walks to stand in front of you, waiting.

"Morning," he greets you and you reply with a short smile. He has his palm rested at the back of Nabi's head.

"Sorry about yesterday," you mumble. At the sound of your voice Nabi cranes her neck and tries to get you into her view. She whines a little when she can't and Jungkook stands sideways to give Nabi what she wants. Nabi smiles when she sees you and you give her a small nose scrunch before setting your attention back to Jungkook.

"Why did you stay?"

"I mean, how was I suppose to know you were about to hook up with you date?" you defend yourself. "Could've warned me at least." You huff.

"I tried to," he reasons but you roll your eyes.

"Next time you try to get me out of your apartment just tell me you're gonna have sex, okay?"

Jungkook gasps a little, putting his hands on Nabi's ears. "Watch your words."

You set his frappucino along with the cookies on the tray.

"Bet Nabi even heard worse things last night."

"My snores aren't that bad."

You sigh. "I'm not talking about that, dummy."

"Well, after you left we just watched a movie and then she called a cab. Nothing happened."

You grimace. "I'm sorry."

"Don't worry." He hands one of the cookies to you with a sincere smile. You take it and take a bite. He does it every morning. Offering you one of the cookies that he ordered. And you always gladly take one because they're even more delicious than the grocery store ones.

It wasn't your intention to ruin the ending of Jungkook's date night yesterday but you can't help feeling relief warming your heart. This was Jungkook's first date since his relationship with Nabi's mother came to and end and you don't want him to end up crushed and heartbroken again.

That feeling of relief is obviously just there out of concern for him and not because that small teenage crush, that sometimes makes your heart skip a beat when he looks at your eyes for a second too long, is thundering in your chest with hope.

Nope, definitely not because of that.
