(I love my son millions so I'm not blaming him for me posting so late but I'm just saying that I like to spend time with him which means it's hard to find time to write) I hope you understand. “Wake up doll,” Bucky whispered into your ear, “It snowed last night.”

“Mm?” you slightly opened your eyes.

“It snowed doll!”

You sat up as soon as the words registered in your head,”Really!?” 

“Yeah doll, look,” Bucky wrapped your blanket around you and picked you up.

He walked over to the window in your bedroom and you gasped when you looked outside. Everywhere was covered in a sheet of pure white. The snow untouched, unbothered by anyone. The streets were empty, not a soul out there. It was like a winter wonderland especially since everything was so still it didn’t look real. 

“It’s so beautiful,” you gushed.

“Not as beautiful as you doll,” Bucky added, winking at you.

“You’re so romantic it’s almost disgusting,” you told him with a smile on your face.

“But you love it doll,” Bucky leaned in to kiss you. 

It was such a perfect moment, kissing the person you love the most while the world outside stood still, a beautiful landscape, the type you see in the movies and read in books. 

Bucky pulled back from the kiss with slightly swollen lips and a massive grin on his face, “I think we should make some hot chocolate and waffles.”

“I think thats a good idea babe.”

Bucky took the blanket off you and then took you into the bathroom. He put you down so you could brush your teeth while he did the same. 

Once you had done that, you walked into the kitchen to get started on the waffle batter as Bucky was making the hot chocolates. 

The way you both moved around the kitchen so gracefully and in sync made the scene seem rehearsed. The truth was that you and Bucky regularly made it a team effort to make breakfast so that neither of you feel like you have too many responsibilities. That’s how everything worked with you and Bucky; you both shared the workload in your shared apartment which not only made it easier, but allowed you both to feel equal. 

This may not have worked for other people but it worked for you and Bucky which is all that mattered. 

After the waffles and hot chocolates were made, you sat next to eachother at the dining table in your kitchen. Bucly had put every imaginable topping for waffles and hot chocolates on the table. 

“What do you want to do today?” Bucky asked, as he shoved an almost too big piece of waffle - loaded with every topping possible- in his mouth. 

You rolled your eyes and finished chewing the food you had in your mouth before responding, “I just want to stay in today, you know I like looking at the snow but going out in it is a different story.”

“I’m very aware doll, especially after our trip to Canada a few months ago,” Bucky chuckled at the memory of you slipping over. 

“You’re so sadistic Barnes,” you retorted.

“You didn’t moan about it last night, well you did, but not in that way,” Bucky smirked.

You picked up a strawberry and threw it at him.

“Hey, that’s not fair, I’m only telling the truth, Santa doesn’t come if you lie.”

“And you’re not gonna cum tonight if you keep teasin’ me,” you retaliated. 

“Is that a promise?” he questioned, raising an eyebrow.

You knew that Bucky would always be in charge in the bedroom, but it was fun to joke around.

A few hours later, you and Bucky were cuddled up on the couch. He was laying with his head on your chest and the rest of his body was ontop of yours, acting like a weighted blanket. There was an actual blanket over the two of you and Home Alone was on the tv. 

This was the first christmas you and Bucky were spending together so you decided to introduce him to some of your favourite films especially since he was a few years behind on films.

Bucky let out a laugh which was a rare occurrence. You kissed him on the head and wrapped your arms around him tighter. 

“I love you so much baby,” you whispered.

“I love you too doll,” Bucky replied, pressing a kiss to your chest. 

This was perfect, you and Bucky cuddled up on the couch, watching a Christmas film and occasionally looking at the world outside.

Do you have any recommendations for more Bucky fics? I love your style so I figure you’d know good ones. A lot of people write him as a dark dom Daddy and while it’s not wrong it’s just not how I imagine him. Thanks in advance. A/N This is part two of the fic too many missions. However, there is a lot of angst in this fic. Idk what happened but I got a bit carried away and it gets really sad but it has a happy ending. Also, likes comments and reblogs are appreciated. All mistakes are my own so if you notice any feel free to comment below.

Summary Bucky starts to take care of you when its actually him who needs taking care of

After Bucky helped you put the hoodie on, he put his other clothes back on. He proceeded to lift you up bridal style and take you to your shared floor of the tower.

“I’m capable of walking, you know,” you said while yawning.

“I know babydoll, but you deserve to be carried.”

He walked into the bathroom and set you on the counter while he turned the shower on and got it to your preferred temperature. He started to take his clothes off so you decided to take your his hoodie off (since it was the only thing you were wearing.)

Bucky turned around and picked you up again which made you giggle. He pressed a kiss to your lips and another to your forehead.

He walked under the spray of the shower and leaned in to kiss you again.

“Can you put me down please,” you asked, breathless from the kiss.

Bucky put you down and reached for his shower gel; he knew that you loved it when you smelled like him. Then, he picked up a loofah and put his shower gel on it before cleaning you thoroughly.

Once you were clean, Bucky picked up your shampoo and put some on his hand before massaging your scalp. You let out a sigh and then moved your head under the water so you could rinse the suds out of your hair. Bucky picked up the conditioner and applied it to the ends like you taught him to. You turned to face him and rested your forehead on his chest while the conditioner was being washed out of your hair.

“Thank you, baby,” you said, looking up at him with a smile on your face.

“You're welcome doll,” Bucky replied and kissed you once again.

“Let me return the favour,” you said. It was more of a demand though because Bucky loved taking care of you but still believed that he didn’t deserve to be taken care of due to his past actions- which were completely out of his control.

“You don’t have to doll,” Bucky replied, looking down at the floor.

You softly put your hand under his chin so he would look at you and you told him, “Darling, you deserve to be taken care of more than anyone else I know, especially since you’ve been working so hard lately. I know what you’re thinking and you need to stop. You’re the most amazing man I know, you’re so kind and caring and didn’t choose to do what you did in the past. Everyone knows that. Even Tony knows and we both know how much of a stubborn asshole he is.”

Bucky chuckled and his cheeks were tinted red. “Thanks, doll,”

You grabbed the shower gel and loofah and started to clean him. After that, you used your shampoo to wash his hair. Bucky loved when you washed his hair because he loved you playing with it especially when he was struggling with the memories and flashbacks of his past.

It was while you were rinsing the shampoo out of his hair when you noticed that he had gone completely still and his muscles were tensed up. His hands were shaking and tears were streaming down his face. You quickly finished rinsing his hair so you could help him out.

“Come back to me Bucky,” You whispered in his ear and grabbed his hands, “Honey listen to my voice, I need you to come back to me now.”

Bucky shuddered when he snapped out of the flashback and looked at you with the most fear-stricken eyes you had ever seen.

“I-I can still see it so vividly,” Bucky whispered.

You wrapped your arms around him and stood there for a minute or two.

“Come on, let’s get you out of here and in bed,” You grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the shower.

You turned the shower off, grabbed a towel and wrapped it around your body. Then, you gave Bucky one to wrap around himself.

“Go into the bedroom Buck, I won’t be long. I just need to put a towel on my hair.”

Bucky just shook his head and stood in the doorway waiting for you to finish what you were doing. When you had finished, you grabbed his hand and pulled him into the bedroom.

You grabbed some boxers for Bucky to put on and give them to him; you grab yourself some panties and nothing else since Bucky needs physical contact when he’s like this. You finished off drying your hair and brushed it through.

The bed hadn't been made yet which made it easier to get under the covers, “Come on baby,” you held your arms out to Bucky.

He walked over and crawled onto the bed. He rested his head on your chest and wrapped his arms around you as you played with his hair.

“I’m sorry, so sorry,” He whispered.

“Shhhh. It’s ok. You’re so tired and overworked.”

“But I shouldn’t be so fucking broken,” Bucky’s voice cracked on the last word and the tears started to fall again, wetting your skin.

“Hey, you’re not broken. You’re a good guy who has been put through hell and back. You didn’t deserve any of it and you had no choice.” You replied, running your fingers through his still-damp hair.

You stayed like that for a while before Bucky sat up and moved to lay next to you. You looked at him confused. He rolled onto his side and used his hand to support his head.

“Thank you doll. I love you so so much.” Bucky leaned over to kiss you.

When you pulled back from the kiss, you responded with, “I love you too, so much.”

There was a comfortable silence that was disturbed by bucky when he said, “I need to finish the mission report.”

“It’s ok. I’ll explain why it’s late tomorrow. I'm sure Fury will understand.”

Bucky moved to lay on his back and moved his arm so you could cuddle up to his side.

“I definitely need the break, the lack of sleep makes everything worse.”

“Luckily, I spoke to Fury then,” you giggled.

Bucky was smiling, “I still can’t believe that you intimidate Fury. No one intimidates Fury.”

You leaned up to kiss Bucky, “Goodnight Buck,”

“Goodnight doll,”

That night, you both fell asleep quickly. Happy that you're able to sleep together after spending so long being unable to do so.

Summary You just got home from a long mission and you missed Steve (a lot).

To say you missed your boyfriend, Steve, was an understatement. You had just gotten back from a three-week long mission with Nat and Clint at an abandoned Hydra base to get some information on the winter soldier. Luckily, the mission was successful and there weren't too many problems other than a few traps that caught the three of you off guard since they were strategically placed.

However, you were missing Steve a lot. And although the mission was less than a month, and you had spent longer away from him, you were still missing Steve and his amazing hugs. 

You could see Steve waiting for you as the Quinjet landed. As soon as the Quinjet opened, you were running towards Steve as he opened his arms to welcome you. 

Steve groaned as he took the impact from you running into him and wrapped his arms around you as you wrapped yours around his waist. You both stayed like that for a while before you pulled back so you could kiss Steve in what felt like forever. 

“I missed you so much baby,” Steve said, breathless from the kiss.

“I missed you too Stevie,” you gave him a chassed kiss on his lips before making your way to the floor you and Steve shared with Bucky so you could shower.

After your shower, you changed into one of Steve’s t-shirts and some shorts before going into the living room on your floor and joining Steve on the couch.

“Do you feel better now honey?” Steve asked.

“Much better,” you responded with a smile.

Steve lifted his left arm to rest on the couch behind you as you moved closer to cuddle into his side and rested your head on his chest. You stayed there for a while as you watched whatever show was on the tv until the end credits were rolling. 

You looked up at Steve as he leaned in to meet your lips in a kiss filled with pure passion. You could feel butterflies in your stomach as your and Steve's tongues fought for dominance.

This romantic situation was then ruined by the sounds of retching coming from behind you. You turned around to see Sam and Bucky stood at the door pretending to gag at the sight of your and Steve’s affection.

“You’re just jealous that you don’t have anyone to kiss birdman,” you said to Sam which he responded to with a scowl.

“And you can't handle the fact that I've got a girl before you jerk,” Steve said to Bucky with a smirk on his face.

“Punk,” Bucky replied. 

“Anyways we came here to tell you two love birds that food is ready,” Sam said, rolling his eyes.

You and Steve stood up and proceeded to walk with Sam and Bucky to the elevator. 

“You two better not start making out in the elevator or else I won't want my food.” Sam said while crossing his arms. 

“Jeez Sam were not animals,” you replied.

“I dunno if I believe you y/n. The things I've heard says different.” Bucky said with a disgusted look on his face.

“Come on Buck, we’re not that bad,” Steve was smiling because he knew that you both weren’t exactly quiet in the bedroom. 

Once the elevator doors opened, the four of you walked out and into the dining room where everyone else was waiting for you. Everyone was sitting down and they had left four seats for you, Steve, Sam and Bucky to sit in. 

You sat down next to Nat and Steve sat on the other side of you. You put your hand on Steve’s thigh whilst you used your other hand to eat. 

“So y/n how was the mission?” Tony asked.

“It was alright I guess. Some of the traps were so fucking hard though.”

“Well Hydra treasured cyborg so I'm not surprised.” Tony responded. 

“Hey! Don’t call me that. At least I don’t have to dress up in a stupid suit to become helpful.” Bucky snarled at Tony. 

Tony just rolled his eyes before turning to Bruce to talk about sciency things that no one but them understood. 

After everyone had eaten, you and Steve excused yourselves. You held hands all the way from the dining room up until you reached your ensuite where you both brushed your teeth. After that, you got into bed while Steve changed into some sweatpants. 

Steve got into bed next to you and lifted his arm so you could rest your head on his chest. You leaned up so you could kiss him again before returning your head back to its previous position. You threw an arm over Steve's stomach and hooked a leg over one of Steve’s so you could be as close as humanly possible to him. 

“Is there anything you want or need, baby?” Steve questioned.

“Just cuddles from you. That’s all I need Stevie.” This made Steve smile.

You kissed his chest and then closed your eyes as you slowly drifted into a comfortable slumber while listening to the steady beat of Steve’s heart. 

“G’night Stevie.” you whispered sleepily. 

Steve only heard your comment because of his super hearing and he let out a quiet chuckle.

“Good night darling,” Steve said although he knew you didn’t hear it because of your breathing which signified that you were fast asleep.

The golden sun crept between the gaps in the curtain as you buried your head into Bucky’s chest. He groaned as he wrapped his arms around you.

“Are you awake doll?” he asked, his voice somehow more sexy in the morning than it usually is.

“Yeah,” you replied while yawning.

You lifted yourself until your legs were on either side of his waist and you could feel his bulge under your hot cunt. Now your face was level with Bucky’s so you leaned in to kiss him but was interrupted by a loud meow.

Alpine had walked into the room and was making his way towards you. He jumped onto the bed and sat on Bucky’s chest, facing you.

You picked him up and cuddled him to, your chest while he purred.

Bucky was actually Alpine’s favourite person (could you blame him) but in the mornings he always snuggled with you first. He started to lick your neck which made you laugh since it tickled. You moved to sit next to Bucky while still holding Alpine.

Once Alpine had decided he had given you enough attention, the feline jumped out of your arms and curled up on Bucky’s chest.

Ever since you got Alpine, he followed you and mostly Bucky everywhere. He was a very clingy cat but that wasn’t an issue for either of you.

You walked into the bathroom to brush your teeth while Bucky fussed Alpine. Then you went into the kitchen to start making Bucky’s coffee and your favourite drink to start the morning with. Then, you put more water in Alpines water bowl and put his cat food into his food bowl.

As soon as he heard the wrapper of the food, Alpine came running into the kitchen meowing loudly. You put the food bowl on the floor and Alpine started to eat like he had been starved which was far from the truth.

Bucky followed not long after. He wrapped his arms around your waist and kissed your head. You turned around to reciprocate the kiss and pass him his coffee.

“that cat is such a cock-blocker” Bucky said before taking a sip of his coffee. You looked down and could still see the prominent bulge in his sweatpants.

“but you love him. And besides we can have sex later.” You responded, grabbing your drink and walking into the living room. You sat down on the couch and started to sip your drink.

“Good.” Bucky replied then kissed you on your head.

Once, Alpine had finished eating, he jumped into Bucky’s lap.

“You don’t think I’m old do you my handsome boy.” Bucky cooed at Alpine who meowed in response. “I know right your mom is such a meanie.”

“Hey! I’m sat right next to you.” You tried to sound offended but couldn’t.

Alpine snuggled between you and Bucky whilst you watched tv until your stomach grumbled which made Bucky let out a deep chuckle. Alpine had now jumped off the couch and had gone to sit on the windowsill.

“Do you want to order from that café that we went to last week doll?” Bucky asked, tapping on his phone to get the right app up.

“Definitely babe,” You responded.

You and Bucky ordered your food and then continued to relax on the couch until the food arrived which made Alpine meow loudly when Bucky had to lift him off his lap. Once Bucky had returned with the food, a couple plates and some cutlery you both dished up your food and dug in (whilst also feeding alpine small pieces of food of course.)

After you had finished your food, Bucky helped you to put the rubbish in the bin and wash the dishes before returning to the couch with blankets and pillows from your bedroom. Then, you and Bucky made the sofa as comfy as humanly possible before getting under the blankets and snuggling together. Alpine jumped under the blankets and made his way to Bucky’s chest where he curled up.

Then, you heard Bucky whisper “cockblocker” under his breath while petting Alpines head. This made you smile and cuddle closer to Bucky if that was possible and the three of you stayed like that for hours just watching film after film in a comfortable silence which radiated warmth and love.
