Idc anymore. I’m tired and I’m just gonna say it. If people are gonna send hate go ahead but I have a life and shit to do.

I have a few reasons why I don’t ship jily. The big one is that it just doesn’t make sense to me.

If you’re going to try and convince me to ship jily or that they were a good ship, it probably won’t work. Even before joining the Marauders fandom I didn’t think they were good tg.

Go ahead and ship them i really don’t care. But all the people who send death threats you need to touch some fucking grass. This is fictional and I can have my own opinions. So can you. But if those opinions are meant to harm others, keep them to yourself.

because even though james loves remus- and he absolutely does! he would kill and die for him! -he did NOT anticipate how jealous he would be of anyone else taking sirius’ attention. or how much disdain he would inherently carry, try as he might, for anyone who didn’t understand sirius on that same molecular level. and remus doesn’t- sirius and remus love each other, are attracted to each other, match in a hundred ways. but they aren’t made from the same cloth the way james and sirius are. he’s protective of sirius- he’s been through a lot, and the mere prospect of someone being in a position where they could hurt him more is maddening. it feels like losing control- and james needs to keep his people safe. it was different with all the girls- sirius was playing them. he was never gone the way he’s gone with remus. he was still james’.

remus has no clue that any of this is happening until james asks sirius who he would save in a fire in a tone just too desperate to be joking.

peter, on the other hand, knows everything, as Lily’s been tutoring him in potions and hearing James’ jealous rants for weeks.

Alastor Moody must have been terrifying.

He keeps losing chunks of himself. His eye, his nose, his leg - probably far more scars and hunks missing out of him than can be counted, enough to leave him looking like a gnarled old tree. Cursed off. They can't be healed properly, they can't grow back. And he is old, even in the first war he is still grey.

But he just keeps coming back. Whenever he does he drags a handful of Death Eaters with him.

You're a Death Eater and you manage to survive an encounter with Moody. You saw he had a chunk blown out of his face and his leg destroyed - good. He surely wont be back on the field after that... WRONG. He is back. Looking less and less 'human' he comes back to the fight, over and over again, no matter what is taken from him.

While I don't consider Hogwarts Legacy canon - Professor Aesop Sharp retired from being an Auror after simply having his leg injured. A good move btw, love him. But Moody just keeps pushing like a monster.

He doesn't even kill - at least he tries not to. He likes to take as many as he can back to face legal proceedings, have them fill up Azkaban, following the legal process that hopefully gives them the punishment they 'deserve'. To a Death Eater, failing their master could be scarier.
