“I don’t see why you take your coffee like that,” Helena says, glancing at me over the rim of her cup. “I don’t see why you drink tea,” I reply, rolling my eyes. “You and rolling your eyes, love. I’m surprised they haven’t rolled out of your head.” I roll my eyes again, taking a sip of my coffee. “Whatever.” I hiss, “Why is it so strong-” Helena shrugs, looking off. “I don’t know. It may be because you ordered a triple shot with no creamer and one sugar.” I sigh, crossing my legs, making a face.
“Do you need a cup of water? You have a rather sour look on your face.” I roll my eyes, “I would appreciate that thanks,” Helena rises from her seat, walking over to me. “Can I...” I roll my eyes, “Yes, you can. Thank you for asking.” Helena softly smiles, hooking a finger under my chin to bring me into a soft kiss. Gentle and sweet, I can taste the warmth of the tea on her lips. Before she walks away, I grab her hand. “No, do that again.” Helena chuckles quietly. “Don’t laugh at me.”
She rolls her eyes before gently giving me another kiss. “Satisfied?” I cross my arms, nodding. She hums before booping me on the nose. “Hey, I didn’t say you could do that.” Helena pays no attention to what I say, walking up to the counter. “Did you order another tea?” I mutter when she came back. “No...I ordered a white flat coffee, with our names in it…for Joan” I facepalm, “Snowflake...it’s going to mess up no matter how hard you try.” She sighs, getting up. “I’ll change the design…” She sighs, walking back to the counter.
She comes back and sits at the table, slightly deflated. “Awww, snowflake...why the long face?~” I tease, smirking at Helena. “Nothing.” I sigh, “Liar. But, it’s whatever. I know what you’re upset about.” Helena glares at me, “Stay out of my mind.” I laugh, running a hand through my hair, “Can’t seem to do that snowflake. Seems it’s the same for you because I’m currently on your mind.” I lift an eyebrow, sifting through her thoughts. “So, you like kissing me?” She pauses. “What did I say about my mind?” I laugh, uncrossing my legs.
“Since you like kisses so much, kiss the next person who walks through that door.” Her eyes widen. “No.” I smile, “Come on~ I promise, I won’t get jealous, that’s not who I am.” She rolls her eyes, “I can tell that’s a lie..” I laugh louder, “Alright, your loss.” She glances at me, “Boundaries, Vinca.” I smile and roll my eyes, “Alright, snowflake.” Another half-hour of teasing goes by and Helena finally says what’s on her mind...even though I already know. “Did Joan stand us up?” I roll my eyes, crossing my legs.
“No...She said she had something to do and that she would be coming in late. Pay attention to the group chat more.” Helena sighs, “I don’t pay attention to my phone as much as you do, love.” I roll my eyes, “Oh, no shit.” I scoff, “Look, I’m going to go ahead and call her.” I pick up my phone searching for the contact labelled Brat. I call and Joan picks up on the third ring. “Hey! Hi Kitten.” Joan answers in hurried words. “You and that pet name, Jesus Christ.” I sigh, “Where are you?” I hear an engine rev up.
“Sweetheart, are you just now coming?” I look at Helena who gives me a questioning glance. I mouth, she’s just pulling out and Helena sighs, drinking her tea silently. “What?...Yes...Yes, I am. I’m sorry.” I roll my eyes, sitting down. “It’s whatever. Just...hurry up before your coffee gets cold.” I mutter. “Okay, I promise. Love you, kitten.” I cross my arms, “I love you too.” In a slightly louder tone, she speaks again, “Love you, Helena.” Helena laughs softly. “Love you too.” With that, we hang up and wait. “Truth or dare?” “Vinca...where did that come from.” I groan, throwing my head back, “I’m boredddddd...Please pick dare.” Helena sighs, gazing at me, maintaining eye contact. “Dare...Only because I love you.” I teasingly talk back, “Awww, I love you too, snowflake!” She rolls her eyes mockingly. “I dare you to kiss the next person who comes through that door.” Helena physically delays. All of her movements stop. “Pardon my hearing...what?” I laugh, “You heard me, snowflake.” A hard look takes over her face. “No.” I sigh, “Then you have to drink the rest of my coffee. Without adding anything to it.”
“I rather drink the coffee-” We’re interrupted by the jingle of the bell above the door. I lift an eyebrow before my eyes enlarge. “I’m going to do my dare, sit tight,” Helena says, getting up and running her hands down the fabric of her skirt. “You got lucky,” I answer, rolling my eyes and crossing my arms. Joan smiles as Helena walks up to her. She’s not even the chance to talk before Helena pulled her in a passionate kiss. I could see the shock in Joan’s eyes. I scoff to cover a laugh and wait for them to finish making out.
I sit back in my seat. I scroll through my phone before it is plucked from between my fingers. “What the fu-” Warm lips find mine, a familiar taste. I tilt my head, “You invaded my personal space, but yes sweetheart?” I lick my lips, looking at her. “I’m here. Sorry for sleeping in.” I murmur, “You had a long night.” She smiles, “Also, you look amazing.” I laugh, “I know.” Helena laughs. The rest of the day is chill, with more teasing and a bit of truth or dare. Helena still won’t do that dare again, I respect that, I wouldn’t want to kiss someone who isn’t my lover.

So...I may...or may not...be writing some hate poetry about...an ex lover.
So...prepare.
MacKenzie: Here at Alpha Beta Omega we encourage you to be open with who you are and what you believe in. Vivienne: What Mac TRYING to say was if you’re lesbian or can be turned, this is the place to be. MacKenzie: That was not what I was trying to say. Vivienne: Name one person here at Alpha who’s straight. Please. MacKenzie: … Vivienne: Exactly.
No you!
Lucinda POV:
Why, did I do this? Who in their actual right mind would go with a woman who they don't know? Well. Me! I am in a car with a woman I call Crimson. We are in total silence. I'm watching her out of the corner of my eye."What are you dreaming about, what's on your mind?" I glance over, "Thinking." She turns her body toward me. "Diamond for your thoughts?"
"I thought it was a penny..." She grins, toying with her serpent ring. "Hm, well, pennies are useless to me. Plus, I feel like diamonds would convince you to tell me what those big doe eyes of yours are dazing about." I discover my face a new shade of red. "I'm thinking about how did I get into a car with a woman whom I don't know the first name of." She chuckles, softly caressing my hand.
"I guess it's about time I tell you." She smirks, softly kissing my hand. I don't recoil this time, surprisingly. "Vivienne Tang," I beam, hesitantly kiss her cheek, murmuring in her ear. "Lucinda Valentine." Before I pull away, her gloved hand encased my cheek, luring me into a deliberate searing kiss. My mind is already running at a mile a minute. Holy- She is an AMAZING kisser.
I smile softly against her lips, biting her bottom lip as we pull away. her eyes widen, "You're immune?! How are you still conscious?!" I gawk at her for a moment. We kiss and the first thing you say is "You're immune, how are you still conscious?" Damn, Vivienne. I wasn't conscious for long because my head was spinning and my vision was blurring.
Vivienne POV:
After my kiss with Lucinda, I was genuinely concerned with why she was still awake. My lipstick's poison and it knocks someone out, instantaneously. She's different, Special. She is special if she didn't want me when she laid eyes on me. She probably desired to taunt me...Make me want her instead of her wanting me.
Lucinda looks more adorable when she is asleep. But, I adore staring into her eyes...and her innocent face. I want to take that. I'd rather take her innocence than her life. I want her eyes on me, and only me. Her big, innocent doe eyes. I want those eyes heavy with desire. The desire that she wants me, needs me. Zoe spoke up from the front of the car. "Carmen Sandiego we're at your house, have a nice night."
I look at Zoe, my friend since 20. "You too, but don't hermit like you usually do." She laughs, as I drag the unconscious Lucinda out of the car. "Sure," I playfully swat her arm, "Oh, whatever." I grin before shutting the door. "You have a good night too, Nikolai." He lets out a low growl. "Just get inside the house, Tang."
I roll my eyes, dragging her limp body into the living room. I grab a few blankets, some pillows, my phone and sit in front of the fireplace. Waiting for Valentine to wake up, I silently read, "How to keep yourself hidden."
I hear the groan from the woman in question. I smile closing my book, looking that way. "Are you doing well?" Lucinda walks over to me and sits with me on the floor. "I guess...where are we?" I smile, resisting my urge to pull her into another lust-filled kiss. "We are at my safe haven...or my home...I prefer building of secrets." She gives me a cat-like smile, "Secrets hm? You have me intrigued, Mistress Tang."
I smirk, "When I get a boyfriend." Lucinda glances at me, puzzled. "Which is never," Her face dropped. "You do have a chance to get a boyfriend." I snap back with a bit of hostility in my tone, "I will never love a man." I could see how taken aback she was as she softly moved away. "Sorry, darling...You can stay close," She instantly backed up more. "Mi amour...what's wrong?" She was now out of arm's length.
"I don't like the pet names, Vivienne," I glimpse at my phone. "Oh...my bad sweetheart...it's a bad habit." She rolls her eyes, getting close to me. "I can see that," I smirk, setting a soft kiss to her lips. The kiss grows more hungry, heated...intimate. She recoiled when my hands started to tease the sensitive flesh of her inner thigh. "What's wrong, lover?" Her voice was almost a whisper. "No," My face went from, I want more to What did you just say to me.
I jeer, "Excuse me...what?" She lifted her voice, "I said no. If you want me. You have to be patient...Let our relationship build from friendship. I want to grow slow...I don't want to be fast...I'm not one to talk about the past but I want to go as slow as me and Inez's relationship was." I stiffen, that name sounded so familiar, too familiar for my liking.
I wanted to raise my voice, tell her that no isn't an answer, that no one says no to me. I want to tell her that slow is for the weak. But I don't. "Okay, if you want to be just friends that's fine." I want her to still want to be around me...There are those words again...I want her...
What do I want from this innocent woman?
Congratulations to our girl!
We love you, Maggie!
Congratulations on winning best performance as Lady Alcina Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village, Maggie Robertson! You deserve it!
Lady D’s VA singing. Obviously this is from The Witcher but it applies pretty well to RE Village too. Kinda cool to imagine Alcina singing this haunting lullaby.
I sit on my bed, crying for another night. I’m curled up around my giant black bear, Isadora got me for my birthday. It still smelled like her. “My Isadora…” My cries grow in volume, burying my face into the bear’s soft fur. “Vivienne.” I hear a knock at my door and I almost instantaneously change my facial expression and my mood entirely. “Yes?” He opens the door and makes eye contact that I can’t break. “Sir.” I bow my head respectfully. He sits on my bed, making me look at him. “What’s wrong.” I shake my head.
“Nothing.” I cross my arms but I end up holding my stuffed animal tighter. “Let it go and throw it away.” My eyes widen. “No.” My voice is stern and full of venom. “You’re blaming yourself about Isadora’s death.” I look away from him. “Can we not talk about that.” He snaps his fingers twice making me look at him. “We are going to talk about that.” I sigh, sitting up, bringing the stuffed animal with me. “What do you want.” I cast him a hard glare and he just smiles and shrugs.
That’s my father, sly as a fox when he wants to be. “Don’t worry your pretty little head about it.” He says brushing a thin strand of hair from the way of my face. “Now, what’s wrong?” I sigh, tucking a strand of blonde hair behind my ear. “I regret it…” He looks up, “Regret what, princess.” I glare at him, “Queen.” I roll my eyes, “I regret loving her.” He tilts his head, keeping eye contact. “You shouldn’t regret that, Vivienne.” I throw my hands up, “Well I do! I got her killed!” My father grabs my hands, holding them looking me in the eyes.
“Don’t regret love. Love is powerful even if I hurts.” I tug on his hands. “Sir, I got her killed do you not understand?” He tugs my hands, “Don’t call me Sir when we’re having Father-Daughter time.” I nod, averting my gaze. “Look at me.” I make eye contact with him and he tilts my head up. “It is not your fault, princess. You can’t control everything.” I don’t mean too but I raise my voice a bit. “I got her killed! You said that people like us shouldn’t love. I should have listened…” He runs a hand through my hair.
“I was angry and heartbroken when I said that.” I roll my eyes, “When are you aren’t?” He sighed, “You loved someone and you lost them. I know how that feels but it’s not your fault.” I raise my voice again, this time meaning to. “Yeah, it’s their fault for falling for us. They’re fools for doing so. As you said, it’s not my fault.” I growl under my breath. “I was angry when I said that! What do you not understand?” He started to yell, and I did right back.
“I understand everything! I understand that you are so full of yourself that you can’t take the blame for something I did and won’t let me take the blame for what I did on my own!” I yank my hands from his. Taming the anger on his face, he sighed rising from my bed. “Pull yourself together. We have things to do.” He closes the door before giving me a second to respond. I bury my face in the fluff of the stuffed animal and scream. “Quit that!” I hear my father yell before I hear the slam of another door.
“It’s going to take everything in my being not to come up to him one day in slap him in his face.”
Mac closes her locker, looking at Jessa.
Mac: That's not how she got it, Flexand.
Jessa: Then explain to me...How did Jennifer Walters become She-Hulk? Obviously, it runs in the family!
A low growl sounds at the back of Mac's throat.
Mac: For the last time...IT DOESN'T RUN IN THE FAMILY!
Jessa: Then explain it to me!
Mac: From a freak accident, I don't remember what exactly she got a blood transfusion from who?
Jessa: Go ahead.
Mac: Bruce Banner! Her cousin! Who is what Avenger?
Jessa: ...
Mac: The Hulk!
Jessa: ...You have a point.
Mac: Exactly!
Jessa: *laughing* I love it when you get passionate about this type of stuff, Mac. Show me that you aren't all "I got a stick up my ass."
Mac: I hate you with a passion.
Jessa: Love you too, pup.
Mac: Call me pup one more time.
My aesthetic says Goth. But how I act is totally different. I look and sound intimidating as fuck but I'm not unless I need to be.
