Dear world. Let me tell you about our misery. School students of our country, Bangladesh arranged protests in the capital Dhaka because three school students were killed by a bus. The government refused to give any punishment, the killers were not even arrested. Two political parties have hired their goons to get political advantage in this situation. The party in power and the opposition party. Today, few students were killed. 4 girls were raped. Many are missing. Government has stopped mobile internet service. The local tv channels and newspapers aren’t showing anything. Dear world, what will we do? We are dying. Spread the word please. Reblog. I know no one wants to hear it but some of you have to tone it down when it comes to guilt tripping people into voting/streaming for your faves, the only thing you're accomplishing is making people NOT want to vote

I understand when you ask in a nice way, I truly do and certainly it makes me think 'well it doesnt take that much time to vote on this app so I'll so it' but I'm so freaking tired of reading things like 'x group is probably REALLY disappointed in all of us for not voting when it was just a small portion of the fandom who was too lazy to vote'

(also, I've only seen this very few times here in tumblr, I guess it's bc I dont follow that many groups, but it doesn't mean that people dont say these things here, and it also doesn't mean that just because people don't do that in this website, these things straight up don't exist)

seriously, stop. On a personal note, I worked really hard for voting during the wonderland promotion of ateez and even though they had no wins and i certainly felt a bit sad for them, it never crossed my mind to think that the rest of the fans were lazy or didn't support/love the boys enough.

There are MANY ways you can support a group you like and voting is just one of them. I know that music broadcast awards are important in Korea but it doesnt mean that us, as fans, have to prioritize them over other certain things (e.g: mental health, studying, working, sleeping, taking care of a family member, etc).

Let's make a collective effort to stop this ongoing trend of thinking that just because you start liking a group, "the norm" is that you have to go all out and 'prove' how big of a fan you are, how much you support them or how much you love them

Listening to their music alone is enough to be supportive of them, and any other things you may or may not do (buying albums, merch, concert tickets, lightsticks) are just a different, extra way to support them
