half of red team isn't here, nobody knows how to actually PLAY MINECRAFT, and the only person remotely good at pvp here is philza. Carre carries everyone and is off doing his own thing. Even IF the other half of the team is there, the only person i can accurately gauge the ability of is WILBUR, and i have zero faith in his skills lol. Everyone is realizing how much they're going to have to stream, and some will have to change their schedules in order to play effectively. Charlie doesn't stream for 5 hours, but he has to be here for all of this, and it becomes VERY CLEAR, VERY QUICKLY, WHY HE DOESN'T. His voice is dead and he is unravelling at the seams. He hates it here more than anyone. only half of his breakdown is a joke. Cellbit and Slime had ENOUGH and just beat each other with sticks. They're devolving and screaming about how much they hate this and they're manic and their arms feel numb and tingly and badboyhalo keeps killing them and they keep dying and life hates them. Jaiden told badboyhalo to kill himself. In a fit of rage they declared that they no longer care about the eggs and they'd rather just go home. They're planning on logging in on Monday only to build a house and start Egg Island Survival LetsPlay where they make an Emerald Empire and only respond in Villiager Hrmms. now they're sing/screaming as their base burns around them, and i can't tell what they're supposed to be singing but they kept repeating "say something I'm giving up on you" and someone started playing the Living TombStone FNAF song. Phil got a globe and gifted everyone a fidget toy to spin and they're just sitting and spinning. Baghera just realized that Phil already had all the saplings they need and she wasted her time, so Phil took off his armor so the two can could fight. Baghera lost even though she had a diamond sword, so Phil just let her kill him so she can be happy. Corpses scatter across their yard. They're killing each other. I started typing this with 20 minutes left and I'm witnessing the longest fucking 20 minutes of my life how is there still 7-whatever minutes left??? CELLBIT JUST CONFESSED TO THE MURDERS AND THEY'RE CONFESSING TO THEIR SINS NOW???? I CAN'T TELL IF CHARLIE'S CONFESSION ABOUT JUANAFLIPPA AND THE CODE IS CANON???? Charlie suggests a cannibalism arc and everyone wants to go absolutely FERAL and cellbit it trying to act normal about that idea and kinda fails at it. And it all ends with everyone being banned to enforce the 5-hour rule. We're Free...for today. And despite this, they don't want to change teams and they're actually looking forward to suffering with friends :) ...nevermind they're planning on selling wilbur to get a better advantage.

To the qsmp people that don't know much about Phil:

As some of you may or may not know, Phil's character in the qsmp cannonically is a crow avian. One of the main parts of his character is that he really loves to fly! That is not just because he's a crow that is also becuse Phil himself loves to fly! Not only does he love it, but he is reaaaaaally good at it! Some of you have seen popular clips of him flying around, showing off his skills, the more popular ones being void surfing, terra swoop force, and mcc.

But I haven't seen anyone share the old clips of him using the elytra back BEFORE USING ROCKETS TO FLY WAS EVEN A THING!!!

q!Phil is kinda avoidant, and I love that for him.

He seems like such a righteous, strong character, right? The wise crow, the Angel of Death, but also a papa. You look at him for five seconds and immediately see a warrior turned father of two who's doing an amazing job and still has his morals and priorities straight. Cellbit (ooc) once commented on how in control Phil seemed that one time when he and three eggs were attacked by the code (he was this 🤏 close to aheart attack) and I haven't been able to let go of it since, especially considering how Cellbit immediately proposed that Philza should be the leader when they had to choose one and everyone agreed. Mr Philza Minecraft is respected and trusted. He is regarded as a strong ally, a formidable opponent, and a force of nature. He is mild and giggly, he loves and hates fiercely, he is calm in the eye of a storm and reliable.

He also relieves himself of even minimal undesirable mental strain without second thought.

He doesn't want to kill other people and doesn't want to know that they would kill him without hesitation, so he avoids them like the plague in hopes that it saves him from the reality of the Purgatory.

He sees the task to kill Pierre and refuses to complete it and initially runs from Pierre to avoid the fight.

He doesn't want to think about Etoiles and what him stabbing Phil in the back means for their friendship, so he turns into a ghost and prays no one finds him.

He feels like an underdog, surrounded by much stronger Green and Blue teams, the players of which are akin to sharks that smell blood in the water. But those were his neighbours just three days ago. Why are they out here, thousands of blocks away from their bases, in his back yard, killing their friends? Badboyhalo and Tubbo lose his trust during the first day, and so he rejects the complexity of their relationship and refuses to hear them out or sympathise. If they are here, then they're out for blood. If they try to talk to him or his team, they are weird. If they try to explain themselves, then they are making excuses that fall on dead ears anyway - he won't hear them out unless he is literally trapped in a conversation with them and he will probably refuse to contact with any of his other friends while they're in the Purgatory.

And then there's his team.

You see, Phil might be the democratically elected team leader, but he isn't really a bossy type. Phil fights exclusively to defend himself or his team and he doesn't cross his lines and that means that he is a good man. And, like, he isn, it's just that his teammates aren't and he really does not care.

(Tubbo sounded regretful, at least. But Tubbo is an enemy and a backstabber, and he was making excuses anyway, because if he wasn't, then Phil is not actually a good man)

If Cellbit starts plotting to kill someone, he will laugh or look away or pretend he wasn't paying attention. If Charlie proposes an effective, but brutal strategy to eliminate their opponents, he will give a cheerful non-reaction or jokingly state what he thinks on the matter and he won't help, but he won't exactly stop him either - if it works, it works, you know? He wouldn't spawn camp someone, it's bad manners and annoying as fuck, but if it's funny then he will giggle at Charlie's story until he hiccups.

If his team dogpiles a member of opposing team, then well, Philza wouldn't do it.

But his friends just can't help themselves, you know?

also like phils lore is kind of solo lore. he relatively stays to himself (+eggs) while turbo's rp is heavily invested into morning crew, fitpac is heavily invested into morning crew, bagi and Mike both hang out a lot with them. Phil does hang out with morning crew ofc but the group dynamic isn't really a part of his thing, you know? so I can see why people don't really put him into their morning crew fics other than there sometimes because he is only there sometimes + he usually gets on a little later than everyone else if he does hardcore so he misses the initial log-in check in. like if you believe he's part of the group that's fine but imo he doesn't seem very heavily invested in it, just friends with most people in it yk? and that's fine!! he's just not a core part of it for most people's interpretations

Morning Crew is a very particular dynamic that formed from 3 people who hung out just with each other almost everyday because of how early they logged in. While at the beginning it was kinda undefinable, oh is it just Morning people? Is it a friend group? Is it just the name of a trio or a general title? As Fit, Tubbo, and Pac’s lore started combining, it became a very particular them thing, they help each other because they’re close. Tubbo’s lore specifically involves directly how Morning Crew is a group of 3, and does not involve Phil in the slightest it’s just not a consideration to him. Pac and Fit, while in very different ways, do engage a lot with how the dynamic of Morning Crew affects them emotionally, Fit relies on them for company, while Pac becomes stressed out without them.

Phil’s lore on the other-hand is very isolated, it has nothing to do with his dynamics with Morning Crew, they exist outside of him. There is no issue with people making solo lore, but all of his lore being so solo is a statement in itself about how he’s not part of that group. As you said even if we go with the requirements of logging on earlier, Phil is either entirely within the afternoon group, or as most times at the end of Morning Crew time. He is also not as grouped up as them like the newest inclusion Bagi is, when Phil hangs out with them it’s individual, he’s close with Fit and Tubbo but not them together. Plus not being close at all to Pac and Bagi, but as noted involving Mike that’s not fully limiting since he is not close with Tubbo. Bagi hangs out with Morning Crew as a unit, unless we are heading towards afternoon time she’s normally with all three of them, or at least a majority of the group.

It’s just that Phil doesn’t really fit the requirements people generally use to determine Morning Crew and as anon said he doesn’t want to. Phil exists within his own story, and his friendships are singular he has no intention of being part of the Morning Crew family. The other ccs also just don’t consider him a member even though unlike Bagi and Mike he was hanging out with them fairly constantly when they formed, he just makes no attempt to be part of the group and the group makes no attempts to have him join.

It sadly comes off to many that the inclusion of Phil in Morning Crew by fans is due to his popularity and want for their cubitos to be part of a group. It’s fine to include him, but just don’t get mad when others don’t.

Phil’s just their friend, close to some but he doesn’t need the title and he’s perfectly happy with that.

In hindsight, this quote hits a lot harder considering “Mortyest Morty” isn’t even his Morty. And he’s not the “Rickest Rick”.

I feel like this quote is slept on a lot because it makes you wonder if he was even aware of the implications of what he said or if he said it knowing Morty wouldn’t understand. I don’t even think he would want to admit it but he’s not “The Rickest Rick” mainly because he gives a shit. Specifically he gives a shit about a Morty that isn’t even his.

It also makes you think that the reason Morty has gotten progressively more aggressive and violent over these past couple seasons is the Prime part of him getting more prominent. And I think the reason Rick getting more combative is he sees that part of Prime in Morty and it scares him. Between the Purge episode, the season 6 finale and the whole Narnia episode and even just general interactions as of recent.

I think the most damning evidence is the episode “Rickshank Redemption” where during a stand off Morty was so fed up with Rick yelling at him during a stand off he shoots Rick in the head. Not an arm or leg but in the forehead. He absolutely shot to kill. And yeah you could definitely say it was a spur of the moment action based of frustration and impulse, but I think that was put in the episode not just an a funny bit but a glimpse of what Morty is capable of. It’s a interesting dichotomy as Rick seems to be getting better, Morty is slowly getting worse. And the Finale adds on to this as Rick compared Morty to a “suicide bomber” because he was being reckless and said he gets that from Prime. But C-137 is the only constant in Mortys life. He’s been through multiple universes and timelines but he has had the same Rick for most of his life. Most of Mortys issues stem from things he had done or witnessed with Rick C-137

For example, the Vat of Acid episode is what I would consider Rick at him absolute lowest. It’s almost the kinda shit you would expect Prime to pull. Messing with Mortys head just to say “I told you so” it made communication between these two break down. At that point on you can tell Morty doesn’t really have a lot of trust or faith in him and how when Rick replaced himself with a robot that treated him just a little bit better, Morty immediately notice. He even thought Rick was messing with him and brought up the vat of acid episode. Don’t get me wrong Morty is far from perfect and a flawed character but so is Rick. They have real emotions and conflict and it’s these factors that separate them from Prime (at least from the glimpses of him that we have seen)

Rick can’t really blame most of Mortys behavior on Prime because any behavior he picks up past season one is from him and him alone. But even then I don’t doubt that there are behavior similarities between him and Rick Prime. The Prime universe was everyone’s personality amplified. Rick almost likes to pretend his the top dog, the Rickest Rick but as few others, including Bird Person and the toxic version of himself, has pointed out, he’s not. He’s highly capable but he’s also vulnerable. Season 6 ended with Rick getting Morty more involved in the search for Prime and I am quite curious on how that will turn out. But regardless one thing is for certain, Morty is really the Mortyest Morty in the finite central curve, and that scares C-137.

You can say whatever you want about the Red team but you cant deny that they are so into their roles and devoted to the bit. One of them, in the middle of their first day chaos, said they should all change their skins and fucking look at them.
