Can somebody explain to me the racist part? Are gearbox racist? Or is Maliwan/Atlas sidequest are racist? I’m very new to fandom I didn’t even start second game, is this true??

The Katagawa family and Maliwan as a whole were one of the most (if not the only) interesting things about Promethea and it makes me SO FUCKING MAD that they're in the hands of people who are a) completely disinterested in exploring concepts they set up and b) straight up just kinda racist. Like what do you fucking mean you're going to give me all this interesting conflict about a cult-like family owned business with humanitarian law violations that would make Hyperion blush. And then just not expand on that. Why would you do that to me

It took me so long to get to this, and for that, I am very sorry. I just had to take my time looking into the three kings so I can get a design I am happy with. And Hades was difficult, considering I don't really want to show him or Persephone ever in Desire for Peace, or at least their faces, just like how I don't want to show Ares' face before his kidnapping. My reason behind Hades and Persephone being the fact that they weren't really supposed to be talked about often back in Ancient Greece, which is funny considering how much they are talked about nowadays. It's basically me trying to reel back on it.
