Honestly I can’t even begin to describe how happy I am to have finally found a fic I really like again. Like, since I’ve become a dramione reader, I feel like after reading the big three (manacled, dmatmoobil, the auction) I’ve read others where I’m like yeah that’s nice but I wasn’t super into it. Lowkey I was thiiis close to just taking a break cause nothing else was capturing me like those did. But a game of high stakes!!!! Is soooooo good. I’m so surprised by how sweet the romance is, like I did not expect to be giggling and kicking my feet like this. I don’t even have words for how much I love the element of shared magic like idk it’s just so sweet to me the way they use it. I’m only about halfway through to be fair so hopefully I continue enjoying it but I know it’s tagged as a happily ever after so I’m not too too worried.

Just wanna pop in and share a silly little one shot that I wrote for the Dramione Writers Society NEWT writing fest. The theme was “Historical Hyperfixation” and my prompt was “Moon Landing US 1969.”

Summary:

Russian-born Draco Malfoy accepts a job assisting NASA with their mission to put the first man on the moon. Everything is going swimmingly, apart from the fact that he can’t stand his American coworker.
